“This is best place in town...that is why im hesitant about my suggestion to mccalla tire...but this could cause people not to be able to change a flat tire...guess I mean no harm but it needs addressed...thanx...the impact torque setting is way to high...I had to use a 3 foot cheater bar to break them lose”

“Bug mechanics are a dying breed and good ones almost don't exist. It was by a stroke of luck I found Mike Russell and I am so glad I did. He managed to take an undrivable, non-running, 1970 VW and turn it into a screaming machine. He truly knows what he is doing and why he is doing it. I have never met someone who is so intuitive as he works. He listens to an engine run and can tell where and what exactly needs to be tuned, fixed, or replaced. It sort of resembles a six sense. Indeed, Mike not only did the full engine overhaul, but has done electrical work, as well as trans work for me and everything he touches is done. I don't have to worry about it anymore. If you need help or need a true wizard with VW engines...call this man. And yes, he can even fix the motor your cousin "repaired". He has seen it all. Reasonably priced for the work he does and will even help you figure out ways to fix it yourself. Good man and has an even better wife...smile. Kenneth”
