“We moved to Opelika roughly 18 months ago and needed a vet for our 6 year old greyhound mix and 8 week old lab puppy. Countryside has been our home since day one. Their hours work great with our schedule. They offer online booking options through the pet desk app, so you don’t have to wait for office hours to book that appointment (which I only seem to remember to do at midnight). They are a full service office, taking care of our pups’ routine and urgent healthcare needs, grooming and boarding. Their prices are very reasonable and our dogs have come to love several of the staff members at the office. I’m convinced, the team learned our dogs’ names and to recognize their faces before they learned my name or my husband’s, which is exactly how their priorities should be, in my opinion :) The couple times we’ve needed more extensive care, they were very honest and transparent up front about the cost to ensure we weren’t caught off guard and still wanted to proceed. I appreciated that transparency. We’re very pleased with Countryside and recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“I cannot put into words how much care they show their patients…. Our border collie Maicee is a regular patient but today I brought in a rescue on zero notice or appointment and they worked him in. You could not even touch this puppy and Dr Carroll took her time(that she didn’t have to do) and just sat in the floor with the puppy for what had to be 30 minutes, just trying to get the pup just comfortable enough to even examine him. The staff eventually got the puppy comfortable enough to do a couple things with and set up a follow up appointment for Thursday. Only that when we got home we found some blood on him and I called Tigertown veterinary Hospital and they had me bring him right back up there. They went above and beyond, if I could give 10 stars I would”

“I took my ten year old, medically fragile, shih tzu mix, Max, to meet the FurBuds team today. The receptionist checked us in quickly and kindly and placed us in an exam room. Shortly thereafter, Kara came in and took all of Max’s extensive and complicated medical history. She was patient and thorough. Dr. San Miguel came in and checked Max over and let me know that he needed radiographs and after she examined them, we’d decide the next course of action. The appointment took about two hours and in that time, I know that everything Max underwent was in the best interest of his health and well being. The team at FurBuds treated Max like he was as precious and darling as he is. They know how important he is to me and share my desire for him to be comfortable and get better soon.”
