“Been shopping here for years. And there are definitely some good ones and bad ones out there. But it’s usually because corporate dictates how they run. And tries to run a full busy store with two people. That’s usually when you see a clutter store.”
“Sons is a family owned and operated business that has been around for as long as I can remember if you are looking for the small town family oriented grocery store that most of us older people remember as a kid. This is the place. And one of the original owners is still around and always walks the store speaking to customers. Very pleasant experience”
“I love this small town grocery store! They always have exceptional sales and they keep it stocked and clean. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. It’s definitely a store that deserves the support of Cordova and nearby communities!”
“THIS WOMAN NEEDS A RAISE!!!
I had such a wonderful experience at this particular Aldi! I went into the store with a lot on my mind and was feeling overwhelmed, but one employee, Soda, completely changed my day.
Soda has such a warm, genuine personality. She talked with me like we were old friends and made me feel so welcome. It's rare to meet someone who is such a natural people person, and her kindness truly put my mind at ease.
By the time I left the store, I realized I couldn't even remember why I had been so upset when I first walked in. That's the kind of positive impact great customer service can have.
Thank you, Soda, for your kindness and for making my shopping trip such a wonderful experience. Aldi is lucky to have you!”
“The store is very clean and well organized. They have a wide selection! The staff are always polite, professional, and friendly! Plus, they just got an electric carted wheel chair for those of us who have trouble walking very far. Lastly, they have increased the early morning store hours, too!”

“This store took the place of WinnDixie. It is very similar on a lot of things. I do wish they would carry more ground turkey options and lamb options. They have a wide variety of produce and frozen veggies.”
“The workers are always very friendly & helpful. They rearranging the isles so it looks much better & less clutter than usual. Checking out was pleasant & fast.”
“Best store in Jasper AL love this place. They are always so friendly and I can always find what I’m looking for. Idk why there are bad reviews I love this place!!!”
“I INCLUDED A PICTURE FOR REFERENCE!!!!! I just had to leave a VERY GOOD review for THIS Dollar General in Jasper, Alabama! This location is by far one of the cleanest, most well organized Dollar Generals I’ve visited in a long time!!! You can really tell the team takes pride in their store.
A huge shout out to Assistant Manager Lisa Ernest!!! She was incredibly sweet, professional, and clearly works hard to maintain a welcoming environment. She and another wonderful employee (whose name I didn’t catch, unfortunately) were working together on the afternoon of July 20th, and both were absolutely on top of everything!!!
The Halloween display was top notch!!! Probably the best I’ve ever seen in a DG! It was so well done it honestly made me want to buy everything in the store!!!! These ladies deserve serious recognition, and in my opinion, a raise wouldn’t hurt either!!!! Thank you for making my shopping experience such a pleasant one. I’ll definitely be back!!!!”

“The store has recently become a much more clean and organized store with much nicer and more helpful workers. Can be a little hard to shop when they are putting up stock due to the small store size and the carts being out which is to be expected. Easy to find what you need usually. Customer Service has improved and hopefully will stay that way.”

“I love this Dollar General. It's my go-to. They always have what I'm looking for. I'm not sure of their names, but there's an older gentlemen and a younger lady working whenever I'm there... Usually around 9pm. They are so sweet, and they don't act frustrated when I run in right before closing. Lol. Also, the store is always clean when I'm there. 👏👏👏”
“Convenient location easy to get in & out of parking lot... Employees got more prompt service & glad that D.G. upgraded. I like that D.G. has better selections in food items as well as other household items. If they could get it all displayed & where we the customers can move around the store to shop without having to peek behind carts of inventory needing to be stocked... This store also has great hours...”
“This five stars is for the cheerful young lady that was working tonight, Sunday the 23rd. I went in at about 8:30 pm. To get a coupon deal one of the other stores was out of stock on. I was having trouble getting the app to accept and apply my coupon. I had my heart set on the deal it wouldn't give up but she helped me solve it and I got the deal thank you for being such a hard worker and cheerful and affecting the customers in a good way. The stores need more people like you! Because I've witnessed numerous times her helpful and happy cheerful attitude and atmosphere. Thx again?”
“This store has changed a lot in five years, and it's run by a kind and friendly manager who actually cares about her customers and associates. I routinely shop here when I can. The only complaint I have is the same with all dollar general's, aisles are too narrow, too much product on display along the sides. Other than that, it's a great place to shop.”
“A big big thank you to Charlotte and Walter in the self checkout! They are always more than helpful as I am getting older and need it lol. Grateful. They are a blessing.”
“Best Pharmacy in town. The Pharmacists care about your health and safety. They take time to speak with you to ensure you know all you need to know about your medications. The staff is friendly. And they DELIVER prescriptions to your house, even with your groceries. How awesome is that?!?!!!”

“We went to Son's because we heard they had great deals on drinks. We don't usually shop there, but due to outstanding customer service today, we'll be back! Savannah, our cashier, was very helpful and went out of her way to get us excellent customer service. Andrew, the manager, and his staff went above and beyond with their superior standards of customer service.”
