“Very polite and helpful. Clean rooms! Clean CARPET!! Not caked in grime. COLD A/C. Microwave and refrigerator. Wonderful tv viewing selection. Full house but was all quiet around. Beds AND pillows were very comfortable.
Could've used a new shower head but hey, it was powerful and HOT. And the only downfall, I could tell when someone flushed.
I would definitely stay again while in the area.
Thank you for caring about the customers here!”

“My stay with this home away from home was Jan 17-Jan 21, 2026 for business purposes.

The family of personnel at the front of the house…….Rebecca, Amiracle, Vanessa and Jay are outstanding customer service oriented people who are not only capable on so many fronts but the are true definition and example of the finest SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY.
The housekeeping staff, breakfast staff and property maintenance staff are always smiling, happy and always have a warm “Hi”, “Hello” or “Good morning” or “good night” to leave you with.
The breakfast is a tasty fix to get your day going and a good nights get sleep is always on tap due to the more than adequate bedding and room decor.
The fridge, microwave and bathroom towels and toiletries always a nice touch.
All things considered, I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in Boston, New York City,
Miami and abroad. The Ritz, Four Seasons and the Park Plaza etc.

THIS fine, warm and caring staff at this location, can hold can hold a candle to any FIVE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ hotel in my experience.

This crew is proof that the most important asset to the success of any company are the …………PEOPLE!!

Well done Rebecca, Amiracle, Venessa snd Jay!”

“A local youth group recently visited several very interesting sites in the Selma-Montgomery area. The Coordinator for the group reported today on costs. Drury Inn & Suites was used for lodging and it seems to have been an excellent choice.

The group rate offered was within the travel budget and accommodations were aesthetically attractive, clean, and comfortable. The members of the Drury team were welcoming, personable, and helpful. And the complimentary dinner and breakfast buffets (which I was told by a seasoned traveler not associated with the youth group) are a company standard across the country and have a variety of delicious offerings! Working together, the complimentary buffets and the group rate allowed the youth to have an enjoyable and educational experience! Thank you, Drury Inn & Suites, Montgomery! Great job!”

“My go to stop when traveling from Atlanta to the Gulf, so clean, always an attentive staffer on duty, extra clean rooms and bathrooms. What's not to love? It's also in a nicer area of Montgomery with plenty of shopping and dining spots.”

“The room is small, but clean and very nice. The bathroom was nice and clean. They have alot of options for breakfast and multiple coffee choices, hot chocolate, and orange or apple juice. I 100% recommend staying here. They have free toiletries and you can ask for stuff like shaving cream if you forget it. I have absolutely no complaints!”

“Great Cars , but the Services did not meet my satisfaction this time for service. I don't think a 2021 should have been rated fair on battery or tires. It's too new to have those problems”

“We ended up at this hotel because the hotel that we had reserved online “ Baymont by Wyndham” was an absolute disaster and had blood splatter on the walls. It was absolutely filthy and altogether just disgusting. We didn’t roll into town until almost midnight and then once we got to the Baymont hotel and it was not fit for humans to stay, we had to find another option and we chose this La Quinta. What a relief to be able to stay in a clean room and have a great breakfast the next morning! Highly recommend”

“We checked in at 1am on 9/13/25. The young man that waited on us was awesome. Breakfast was really good. I broke my left ankle and right foot so we got 117 the handicap room. Only down side was no shower chair. Bed was really comfortable. Would stay again.”

“Overall this hotel is good but the value was not there this last time we stayed.

Room - I like the suite and the chairs to sit at the table were very comfortable. Bed was the most comfortable we’d had on our trip (4th hotel in a week). There wasn’t any shower gel but I bring my own anyways. Room was quiet for New Year’s Eve. Room was clean but agree with others that some things need updating.

Breakfast - Good options (really liked the potatoes and waffle) compared to most hotels. But, someone needs to be better at stocking the area and cleaning it. Unfortunately this is partly due to guests taking food back to their rooms more so than the workers not keeping up. The other two tables completely filled to go containers with the food.

I will still be back next year as the good outweighs the bad (unless the price is more than I want to pay).”

“The souvenir shop, TOURS OF MONTGOMERY is located right across the street from the now closed and deserted, BEN MOORE HOTEL (which should be re-opened for tours) ; a historical site located in the Centennial Hill area at the corner of High St. and S. Jackson St., just a block south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic home in the 1960's. That entire area is full of civil rights and Montgomery history... Vernon's house, Hall Bros Barber. Shop (oldest in Montgomery- still operated by one of the Hall bros. who gives interesting "First hand" accounts of his encounters with Dr. MLK.). A must visit area for any tourist AND local!”

“As usual, we found HIE to be clean and comfortable for our overnight stay. The beds always provide us with a peaceful, restful night. Yes, their breakfast is among the highest rated for a quick hot bite before going on the road. Of course, we all know their cinnamon roll is WHY we stay their. Thank you for keeping your standards high for your overnight guest.”

“Very nice! Room was great! The door handle was tricky to open, several people outside their door in same predicament, but once you figure it out it’s ok. Just annoying when you have your hands full. Overall, good location. Just be prepared to pay for breakfast, Buffet is not free!”

“Wonderful hotel! I truly enjoyed my stay here. The amenities were everything that I wanted; refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and free wifi. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.”

“So I stayed at this hotel for about a week. The staff were very welcoming and were very professional and personable. I did like the room I had a lot, it was clean and felt like a freshly updated hotel. My mini fridge did make a loud buzzing noise throughout the week but I quickly fixed that myself with a little adjustment. I didn't leave a door tag on the door for privacy but did realize that the room was not cleaned throughout my stay. I haven't stayed in hotels much since COVID and possibly direction has changed in this regard for servicing rooms? Otherwise this was a great place to stay, I would recommend it to others. It is conveniently located near lots of fast food and shops on the same street, which I took advantage of often through the week during my travels. If you have the opportunity or just passing through give this place a shot. It was affordable, had many amenities and was all around a comfortable experience.”

“The outside appearance is deceiving. The room was very nice and comfortable. Ants kept coming in on the sink/vanity, but that's not the first time I've encountered ants in a hotel room. My room rate was definitely worth the quality. I would def stay here again.”

“The Family sons father an uncle, are great people, Very kind, an have great big heart's, they take in people that have hardships mental issues, very little or no money, all of the workers try their hardest, to accommodate, everyone, they don't discriminate, against, any one no matter race creed,or color.I believe they have help an caterers to the human, condition, more than any, city state or federal entity ,in the area, they chose to conduct business, they have been taken advantage of by individuals treating their kindness for weaknesses, their generosity, for ignorance, an have personally taken care looked out an been so helpful an understanding, towards me an many many others, that the city of Montgomery, an state of Alabama, should help maintain, assist, an also learn how to treat house an uplift the citizens in that area as these bugetel inn owners workers have contributed to their community, as these people have to the have nots.Yes there is a element that needs to be removed, an the people an others know exactly as all do,but that's up to everyone, no that stays there, can say nothing, bad about the people that own help also provide, for all that dwell, on an around Bugetel inn on Carmichael an Eastern.”

“Stayed here for awhile,no problems! Staff work with you not against you. You get what you paid for so if you tend to have high expectations go ahead and go across the street this the express lol get in where you fit in. I highly recommend staying here unless you excepting it to be a 50$ Marriott room them stay somewhere else! They always treat me well and I never have any problems”
