“I've stayed here twice, a few years apart. I wish they had king beds, but otherwise I like it. Very clean, friendly staff. I've had the queen bed with sofa bed both times and those rooms are fairly spacious. I looked at the more basic room, but found it a bit claustrophobic. Accessible room has excellent features except no handheld shower in the room with a tub.”
“I have been to hotels all around the world. This was absolutely the cleanest, friendliest, and most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed at. The greeting you receive from everyone at the front door (special s/o to Tianna) EVERY TIME YOU ENTER/EXIT the property is so warm and comforting. The front desk staff (special s/o to Ebony) is so helpful, friendly, and FAST - they are ON IT. The cleaning staff was amazing, the attention to detail when cleaning the rooms everyday was unbelievable.
The hotel itself is literally a library and museum with great amenities... the pool area is really nice and the statues/artwork throughout the building is so inspiring, but the gym was my favorite part.
Overall, 100% recommend. This is the ONLY hotel I will book at in Montgomery, moving forward!”

If you come to this area also visit Prevail Coffee House, just around the corner for the most amazing staff and beverages, with house-made treats every day!

“Very clean and the front desk clerk was extremely informative and knowledgeable about everything in the hotel. I was visiting Alabama for a Bible Seminar. Everyone was professional and helpful. Breakfast was nice and snacks are available onsite for a small nominal fee. I will be staying again when I come back in December for the Holiday Extravaganza.”

“Service all smiles and genuine. Room w kitchenette was extremely clean. My ac had a small leak but it was obviously recent as the Room was not musty. Breakfast was great and the gentleman servicing the area never stopped moving. He was cleaning, refilling, and moving about with obvious intent to make the area a solid experience for the guests. Coffee was good, which I often find at hotel breakfast, as lacking oomph. Not this time. Hotel was quiet despite many kids, and the locations was optimal for area travel. It is nestled in a quiet area as well so no interstate noise.”

“As soon as we walked in we were greeted. The staff is amazing. They attended to all of our needs. Our room had a great view. The room itself had an older room smell to it, but it was very clean. The housekeeping also gave us extra towels when we requested. There was nothing that made me want to leave and go somewhere else. We weren’t going to be in our rooms that long and we stayed busy. We also took advantage of the hotel amenities. My husband loves to sit outdoors at night and enjoy the breeze. The next day we enjoyed the bar. Even though I only drink Shirley Temples I enjoyed myself too. The person working that day was a delight to talk to. If we were in Montgomery, Alabama again we definitely would stay here. Side note if you’re looking for a place to eat go to Parrilla Loco Mexican restaurant. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. As far as the hotel again. The only thing that we didn’t do was the swimming pool and that’s because I forgot my bathing suit and did not want to go down and look at my husband swimming. I will say the pool was busy when we were walking around from the patio from enjoying the breeze. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Montgomery.”
“The souvenir shop, TOURS OF MONTGOMERY is located right across the street from the now closed and deserted, BEN MOORE HOTEL (which should be re-opened for tours) ; a historical site located in the Centennial Hill area at the corner of High St. and S. Jackson St., just a block south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic home in the 1960's. That entire area is full of civil rights and Montgomery history... Vernon's house, Hall Bros Barber. Shop (oldest in Montgomery- still operated by one of the Hall bros. who gives interesting "First hand" accounts of his encounters with Dr. MLK.). A must visit area for any tourist AND local!”

“This is an exceptional hotel, super clean, comfortable and great friendly staff at front desk. We had an app/reservation problem that was quickly handled and solved. This is our second time staying here and it is on our list of favorites. It is a little further east of town, but so worth it.”

“We stayed on night of 2 August. The hotel is a little old, but extremely well maintained. The rooms are large and very clean. The people at front desk were very friendly. Cost was great for a large room and king bed. A Waffle House is a block away for breakfast. It is also easy on and off the interstate. I would stay here again. Something I also noticed. When we first arrived, the clerk was cleaning the lobby area. Every time we went thru the lobby, the clerk was cleaning or sweeping. That's pretty impressive.”

“I’m only giving 5 stars because of Gwen Alexander assisting us to a better room. When I arrived on 9/26/25 to check in I asked to see the room before paying. Front desk hesitated for me to see the full size bed. I asked could two people sleep in the bed comfortably and she stated yes. Well, the receptionist said 99.00 each night and I asked could I see the room please. Well, about time Mrs Alexander shows up and the receptionist says I would like to see the room before I purchased the room. Well, Mrs Alexander shows us a better room that accommodated my wife and I instead of a bed that the receptionist knew only fits one person. Bravo Zulu to Gwen Alexander for assisting a retired vet. Bravo Zulu to Vivian Payton in housekeeping.”

“The Hampton Inn Eastchase offers great value. We have stayed here on road trips before, and it has not disappointed (including the most recent stay). In fact, we decided to try to the Homewood Suites across the street on the way down, and were happy to go back to the Hampton Inn on the way back up. Much better experience. Several things:
1) Helpful and friendly staff
2) Clean, well-maintained rooms and common areas
3) Nice pool that is clean (although a pain to access because the gate gets jammed easily)
4) Solid breakfast with some nicer, healthier options
Overall, this is our go-to choice in the Montgomery area for a layover during road trips.”
