“This is my first time reviewing a gas station, but this BP stands out as more than your ordinary gas station. Let’s start with the hot food. They sell fried catfish, fried chicken, and seasoned “fried” potatoes. (I’m not sure if they were fried, but they were outstanding.) And the catfish was restaurant-quality. The fillets were huge, fresh, perfectly seasoned, hot and (forgive my reuse of the term) perfectly cooked. Portions were generous. And the prices were outstanding. If I lived in this area, I’d pick up dinner here on the regular. However, I was just passing through. Now, let’s talk about the service. The young lady serving the food was so pleasant. So was the cashier (seemed owner because he was mopping too.) The place was clean, and the man mopping the entire floor to ensure it was super clean. Restrooms were well-kept too. I hope this review helps you and if you live in the area, I hope you’ve found a new dinner staple.”

“Stopped to get gas on my way back from Florida to Kansas City, MO when I noticed one of the bolts came out of my back license plate and it was hanging by 1 bolt. I asked the man behind the counter to borrow a screwdriver to which he politely let me use his own personal tools to fix the license plate and get me back on the road quickly. “2-17-23 Stopped here on the way to my friends house. Hubby needed to take a smoke as he can't in the rental car. So I went in for some beer and bubbly to take to my friends house. Hubby says get a six pack of the large cans of Miller Lite. So when I get to the refrigerator doors your choices are a six pack of bottles for $9.99 or a fifteen pack of the larger cans for $19.99. That's a no brainer and I got the fifteen pack as well as a bottle of Prosecco. The bottle of La Marco with it's pretty Tiffany blue label is not bad. So I get to the counter and pay and leave. There is nothing else around so I guess if my friend needed anything this would be her only option nearby.”

I did, and it installed unwanted software on my phone, completely rearranged the icons on my screens, wiped out customization on my app layout, then kept trying to sell me various things, including a $49 per month movie subscription. “I love the staff here in the Capitol Heights area. Because I frequent here alot from living in the neighborhood I know them and they are friendly and accommodating. Pop-in for a quick gas up, cold can & bottled drinks, cold beer and lots and lots of STELLA ROSE. Open til around 11pm. Other store across the street closes around 8pm or 9pm. Serves Ready mad pizza and chicken wings. Can order freshly made pizza at any time. There is an outside restroom. Mostly clean parking lot. The only deterrent is some days there are staglers around the location, not all the time but noticeable. Oh and never buy the pickles.....niece said it was old. ATM inside store. Ice cream and daily newspaper available as well. I enjoy the warm greeting and smile of "hello my friend"!!! And when I have been gone for more than a few days and return, they know. ?”

“The staff is very helpful. HR needs to employ more people to work. I feel sorry for the staff that has been there for a long time. They are always short handed. Give them a raise because they are over worked and under paid. They can't keep faithful and good people. CVS don't know how to keep good and knowledgeable staff personnel a this location. I use to love the service that I was getting but not anymore. The pharmacy needs help badly. I'm trying not change location because it's very convenient and I have always been a loyal customer for 20 years or more. No more bragging about them now.”
