“I have bought 2 vehicles from this dealership and always took them there to get get serviced. I recently took my truck there to get serviced and to check for a rattling noise under my truck. They informed me of a diagnostic fee to check this out. I'm okay with paying the fee, but when they misdiagnose it and then give you an estimate of over 1000 dollars to fix it, that isn't going to sit well with me. I talked to my service advisor and he stated that he will talk to the service manager and they would call me back. Four days later and I still haven't heard from anyone. Poor customer service if you ask me! This isn't the first time they have misdiagnosed a problem with my truck either. If I'm paying a $165 diagnostic fee,I expect my problem to be diagnosed right! Looks like I'm going to have to find somewhere else to get my vehicles serviced from now on! UPDATE! “I was a bit nervous at first as are most of us are with an independent shop but they were close to home and I decided to try my luck. I've seen plenty of customer cars here over the years so I figured that it was worth a try.My 2004 Grand Marquis needed two things repaired, the speed control for the blower and the air suspension compressor. They did the work promptly and at a reasonable price, far better than what the dealership was estimating. Previously I tried the Lincoln dealership in Southgate for the blower not being able to be controlled. It was either on high or off. Their mechanic had the car for 2 days and couldn't find a problem. They said it was working fine and sent me on my way. It failed as I pulled out of their parking lot so I went back. They said I could leave it again for the night and they would look it the next day again. I decided that apparently their mechanic was not too experienced with intermittent blower speed issues even though the problem is highly recognized on Youtube for the Panther platform cars. On my own with Youtube's help I concluded that it was the blower control resistor, as this was a common issue with the Panther platform and decided to take it to Livernois Automotive. Mike and I talked and they replaced the blower resistor and the problem was successfully fixed in addition to the air compressor I needed for the suspension system.Mike and his mechanics are what we look for in mechanics. Honest, dependable, and with reasonable prices. This is now my go-to shop for automotive repairs. Thanks Mike....”

“I went to Gilland to have an issue with my passenger reardoor lock actuator replaced under CSP 20M04. The lock would not lock or unlock electricly, it would work manualy. I want to thank Amanda Howell for how she treated my wife and myself discussing this issue. She and Shannon made us feel that our issue was important and our business was valued. I took my F150 in today for the repair, and I can not have been more pleased with how they addressed the issue in a very timely manner. The technician did an outstanding job. The panels were clean and back in place without any issue. Gilland will get my future work. Thank you for showing us what customer service is all about.”
