“Definitely my favorite place to go for anything that they have.They were a little iffy about me when I started buying my alcohol from there but going there often they recognize me, I passed by the place everyday not knowing what it was until I went and i definitely go there almost daily now. I used to go to bp in Springville but now that I know these folks are closer I go to them now.They are definitely the most friendliest place small store wise because they always ask me how my day is/was and always ask if I need help looking for things because I don’t just shop for alcohol ? I get plants from them, (they are thriving btw)But anyways I love this place and definitely recommend it.”

“I love the pig! However…this review is about these rotisserie chickens. I think the last 4 or 5 that I’ve gotten have been EXTRA EXTRA salty…like me if I don’t get my nap out. I love to swing by and grab one if I’m running behind on dinner plans. I use them in some quick recipes, and lately…even if I completely omit salt from any other part of any other recipe, it’s almost inedible it’s so salty. Definitely couldn’t eat them outside of adding other ingredients. And they’re extra dry lately too. I’m not sure what’s happening, but Please go back to the normal salt level. Thanks in advance. Pictures of one of the two I bought to debone for chicken pot pie tonight.”

“I went to IGA grocery today and almost filled my shopping cart up for $100. Everything i bought was on sale! Ribeye steaks, milk, cereal, coffee and creamer, etc. Keep a check on the meat dept as they have amazing deals from time to time”

“I can always count on fresh produce here. I love getting limes, Jalapeños, and cilantro (also others). You can also find Jarritos and other similar drink mixes that are of good quality. They are a few that speak English but money is a universal language.”

“I am disappointed that the store is closing, they have a good selection that is much broader than Aldi will have. I have been so glad to have a mid priced grocery with a deli and bakery so close to home and now I will have to drive farther away to get the things I actually need that Aldi doesn't really have the capacity to offer like bakery fresh breads and a butcher/deli counter. Sometimes change is not for the better.”

“Decent staff, seems like a lot of staff turnover but, being fair, if you are respectful to them you will get respects in return. Freezers seem to have issues but restrooms are clean and the staff makes the extra effort to get you checked out asap. Not the best selections but I happen to know that's not the staffs fault because I've worked for DG before. Still I like these folks and they always help me. Sometimes they get staff that isn't the best but those people don't stay long. They do the best with the selection they've got.”

“I like the store because its new and has a nice paved parking lot. It seems they have much more to offer than other area Dollar General stores with a big food selection and their other departments seem to have more and isles seem a bit wider. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They have three self check-outs and one check-out served by an employee. My complaint is that the hand- held scanners seem to never work on the self-serve check-outs. If you have heavy items like water, you can do some lifting to scan it.”

“This is a nice little grocery store! Despite it being so small, it actually has a good variety of food options. If you just need a few things and want to be quick, this is a great spot. It has lots of cheap options and the staff is pretty cool, I have seen some that were an okay bunch but for the most part I've had nice experiences with the people working here. It's very clean and everythings always put in a nice order, so I would recommend this spot for someone looking for a quick place to shop.”
“The people do their best to accommodate customers, and there is a lot to be said for that. They are very nice people and jump to help when called. The selection is decent but their supply truck, sometimes, I think is sleeping as some supplies take a while to get there ;) And i'm not a person who is "just reviewing". I went to a store within 15 miles and they were getting "too much" stock. Yes, the Dollar General network seems to have "favorites" when it comes to supplying. However, these people do their best with what they have and i respect that, that's what "real" service is all about and i applaud them for it.”

“It's a convenient location and a lot of nearby stores that I frequent. I don't know if cashier was having a bad day but attitude was contemptible. I did find a item on sale that was a plus. Another customer recognized her attitude towards him and said she is like that all the time. The devil is a lie, just quit if your not customer oriented simple.”

“This is your small town Dollar General that's convenient to come instead of driving into Trussville. Pretty much your basic items to purchase, but the store is a lot smaller compared to the newer models and sometimes hard to get through.
