“I rented a car for a long drive from Austin TX to West Palm Beach and back. Stopped in Robertsdale to visit an old friend. My lower exhaust heat shield had been dragging so I pulled it off the night before. It came off so easily that it made me think that someone tampered with it along my trip.

I had called a shop the night before and asked about the repair and was quoted about $45 for labor. While visiting Robertsdale, I made a two calls. The manager at Pepboys said to come in and he would take a look.

John greeted me when I walked in. He was busy with a customer and said he would be right with me. He asked for the key and pulled it into the bay. About 15 minutes later, he handed me back my key and said you're all set.

I was a little shocked! This was by far the best treatment I have ever experienced at a repair shop. There was no charge for the repair.

I am sure that it was not just the small town vibes but this shop has to be the most efficient, honest, trustworthy auto repair company in the whole country.
