“We love Piggly wiggly meat. We only purchase our meats from the Pig 🐷. Produce 🌽🥦 is always nice looking and fresh. The deli has good food 🍗 🥧. The flowers 🌹🌺 I purchased for mothers day ❤💐 are beautiful after put in a vase. I created all my meals with food from Piggly wiggly and my home made jerky for my family and my homade jerky for the dogs all the Meat comes from Pig 🐖🐷”
“I have always thought that this store has the best meats hands down! The prices are lower than any store around. Of course Beef has been high since COVID, but it is high every where. However, the chicken and pork prices haven't changed much in 5 years or so.
The Beef, Pork and Chicken are carefully trimmed and packaged, with no surprises like excess fat, skin or bad cuts hiding underneath. As for Seafood, I think it is almost always frozen.”

“This dg is usually relaxed with few people and small crowds. You can get in and out fast and the people are nice/courteous and dont mind taking time to help. Good country location and people. Expect southern hospitality.”

“My lady loves going in and getting stuff to make decor, if any complaint at all the employees could use a couple extra hands, great people work really hard, just sometimes there's a rush, don't get me wrong they handle it greatly and continously making great progress. “I am so thankful to see new management at the Shelby location! The new manager, Tanya Patterson, has already made a noticeable and positive difference in the store. I believe she has been at this location since the beginning of August, and the improvement is already clear.
The store is more organized, cleaner, and has a much more welcoming atmosphere. It is refreshing to see someone who genuinely seems to care about the store, the customers, and the overall shopping experience.
Thank you, Dollar General, for making this change! I truly believe this location is headed in a much better direction, and I look forward to seeing the continued improvements. Great job, Tanya! 👏🏼”
