The level of customer service goes above and beyond the normal you would find anywhere else. You really feel like you are in the General Store in Mayberry and that Sheriff Taylor may breeze by you at any given moment. ?”

“The store is just fine, and friendly staff. Easy to get to the location in a Plaza with a Piggly Wiggly serving as the anchor. A couple of restaurants in the plaza and a smoke shop for vapes and other things. 4 of 5 because their carts have that tall pole attached to them so you can't roll them out of the store. So shop light.”

“They have some cool books and movies sometimes. Can't beat the prices. Last time I was there I found a copy of Douglas Adam's "Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy". Also bought several "Shudder" original movies. Which was a very nice find. 5 stars! Although maybe they should change the name to Dollar.Twentyfive tree.”

“I was on my way to another store & stopped at the Dollar General at Ave H Ensley area, I’ve never been to this location. It certainly was meant for me to stop at this particular Dollar General, due to the fact that I found everything that I had been looking for at several other stores. (not Dollar General stores) Let me get to the best part & that is the CUSTOMER SERVICE, it was OUTSTANDING & worth writing this review! I was helped by a YOUNG lady name Sherrell she was friendly, courteous, kind & very helpful, along with being knowledgeable of her job. The cashier a YOUNG man name Issac was friendly & greeted me with a smile at the register, after paying for my products he said thank you ma’am & have a blessed day. Upon me leaving out the door they both said come back & shop with us again. CUSTOMER SERVICE is very important to me so there was no way that I was leaving this store, without complimenting & encouraging these 2 young people, Sherrell & Issac. There was also no way that I wasn’t going to writing this review. We as people always want to complain, which is fine if we have a problem, but we need to take that same energy & time to COMPLIMENT as well. I will definitely be shopping there again! Awesome job Sherrell & Issac, keep up the great work”

“I was in a lot of pain at family dollar on 4th Ave in BESSEMER. the beautiful young lady that works in family dollar tall and beautiful help me to my car and she went back in family dollar and bought what I wanted and brought me my change . the young lady refuse to take a tip .i was truly truly blessed indeed god sent me an angel.”

“Since the pandemic this has been my store. I don't trust Walmart (it has a covid cloud over it) I can find everything I need from certain foods to bleach and lysol! “Above average selections to chose from here at this Dollar General as well as larger soft line department. I find this DG to be very pleasant.My only complaint was they were out of ANY milk and only had one brand of peanut butter.******All DOLLAR GENERAL STORES I'VE SHOPPED IN LATELY HAVE BEEN OUT OF BUTTER FINGER CRISP CANDY. ?What's up with that?******Otherwise, I always recommend shopping this DG.”
