“The store is just fine, and friendly staff. Easy to get to the location in a Plaza with a Piggly Wiggly serving as the anchor. A couple of restaurants in the plaza and a smoke shop for vapes and other things. 4 of 5 because their carts have that tall pole attached to them so you can't roll them out of the store. So shop light.”

“The young lady that works there usually I see her in evening time when I go in. She is very nice an sweet young lady always make sure to greet you as u come in. Unlike the older woman that works there kind of seems like a manager or someone in charge. She is always on her phone when she is checking people out she has her earbud in and is always talking on the phone instead of paying attention to her customers. Other than that pretty good place.”

“I have lived in Hueytown for Years and this is the best I’ve seen this store it’s usually no staff and product everywhere this new manager has it clean and staffed so my shopping experience is great! When I see this store location closed for any reason I understand that Dollar General expects these people to work alone for hours and it’s unsafe or they aren’t able to get their lunch if they are there alone and the customers in this area are very entitled and inconsiderate of the people who work here I hear customers complain about the music even when none is playing the customers should relieve the workers when they need a lunch or call out since they built this specific Dollar General brick by brick and maybe when issues arise in the store and customers call to complain instead of holding a company that feeds off corporate greed and pleasing stockholders they hold they people who are doing the absolute best with what they have I pray this manger doesn’t quit she’s the best this store has had in YEARS!!! Dollar General doesn’t need better employees they need better customers who will fight for and with them not against them. ?

Union reps save these employees DG employees NEED a Union!!!!!
