I walk in the door to my new friends at the registers. Kelly is my absolute favorite, I smile as soon as I see her because I know as soon as I'm checking out there will be laughter.....always a fantastic visit.
Every employee is extremely helpful with anything you request. I highly recommend this Foodland.”

“Great customer service good place to get gas they really need to paved the rest of the parking lot especially the entrance exit near the billboard sign large potholes as for the inside not a lot of selection of items lots of beer though and a restaurant that's not working has a little thing of hot food it's been sitting for God only knows how long”

“Husband got us drinks for the ride home. I didn't think about it til he came back out that I wanted boiled peanuts for the drive home.I walked in to see if they had boiled peanuts I'm from out of state and where I live no gas station has them. This one did not have them but the lady was very nice and gave me some directions to a near by gas station but I had my son in the car and my husband was ready for out drive back home and since I'm not formally with the area I had no idea what she was talking about. I just didn't get any. But again staff was very nice. If need be while visiting again would stop by again.”
“Stopped here after being on the road, had to grab some snacks and let everyone use the bathroom.
We’ve stopped at Mapco before but this one really stood out. The bathrooms were actually super clean unlike a lot of gas station bathrooms. Everything on the shelf was organized and easy to pick out from. And the people were nice and I think the managers name was Kiara or something but she was really helpful when my son wanted a specific snack she knew exactly were everything was.
But all in all I would say it was a 10/10 definitely will stop here every chance we are around the fort Payne area.”

“the pizza has been good every time we’ve gotten it here but ben needs a raise! he made the most phenomenal pizza we’ve ever had from anywhere and yes that includes actual pizza restaurants. i couldn’t believe it was gas station pizza. ben is always so polite and helpful!”

“This truly is a “mart”. There were only 4 gas pumps and then only one, single-stall bathroom to serve both genders. It got the job done, but we did have to wait our turn to get gas. Not the spot to go if you have multiple kids needing to use the restroom.”
“A good place to stop in for gas and snacks. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are good fresh, and they have a few grocery items that have saved me from having to make a trip all the way down into town.”

“Cheap gas prices and a car wash. I got the $10 wash, and it was very acceptable. I don't think any of the more expensive offers would have done a better job, so stick with the cheaper option .”
“I’ve been going to this store since I was a child, but have been a frequent customer for about the past five years since moving to the north side of town.J and his wife are always kind, considerate, and attentive. Some have said that the lady is rude, but a lot of times when I walk in there she is working. She’s on the phone handling business, sweeping, always doing something. We are all only human, and maybe she was having a bad day if she was a little stand offish.They’ve been sweet and kind to my family. Every time I’ve walked in this store clearly upset, J and his wife make sure to ask me if I’m okay or if something is wrong and his wife has given me kind uplifting words multiple times. They care about their customers.I love the music they play throughout the store too occasionally. It’s so neat to hear music from different cultures and backgrounds and the way the music has simply surrounded me sometimes walking in, is just unexplainable. I would’ve probably never been exposed to it had it not been for this store. They may be Indian owned, but they’re locally loved and their ethnic/cultural/religious background shouldn’t matter.I hope the owners of Fort Payne Food and Tobacco continue to be a reliable source of products such as milk, butter, bread, and don’t forget the vast selection of tobacco and nicotine products, and more. “This is the only store that has the sonic ice, everywhere else is the big chunk ice! The Kirkpatrick Guy that works 3rd shift is super nice so please bring him back! There is two ladies that work the morning shift that are also super nice and can handle the busy crowd like there’s no tomorrow! I’m always greeted when I walk in the door and the breakfast and lunch food is always hot and good! Thanks y’all!!”
“Not much to choose from in Ider but the food here is very good. Hamburgers made to order and the spouse likes the chicken fingers. We have had tried several things on the menu and everything was good. People are super friendly and prices are reasonable.”
