“Everything is good as far as the staff and the selection of items. The only problem is the building design itself. The entrance can be annoying when using a shopping cart because of the area carts are kept has limited space and doesn't have automatic sliding doors like most other Dollar General stores and they are kept right inside between 2 swinging doors, which can make it difficult to maneuver getting a cart to use, getting in and out, and returning the cart. Other than that it's great. Considering it is the oldest Dollar General in the area and surrounding towns and cities though, the entrance situation isn't as bothersome as it would be if it were one of the numerous Dollar Generals that have popped up all over the place.”

“This particular dollar store is doing there part to combat covid. They leave the front door open to stop people from touching where an infected person might have touched. They also have signs posted at the door in both English and Spanish that states the governor's mask order is in effect and to please wear a mask. They have mask for sale at the register. As well as hand sanitizer.”

“I visit this store a few times a week and the staff is always so friendly. My only complaint is not being able to use the internet inside it makes it hard to use the app to look over your coupons & to scan when they have their sales. The other DG's I don't have a problem with this. But other than that it's my favorite store.”

“I can go to the dollar general store for the small things that I need, like, bleach, toilet tissue and wash cloths. I would love to see bath towels sold there also. That is what I look for when I go there. The employees are really nice, and if they are busy they will stop to help if needed.”

“Dollar General in Sylvania is always great. Very friendly people always willing to help. Store is clean with nothing blocking the aisles. Some issues with out of stock items but it's the same as every where else currently.”
