“The things we do for our children! My daughter was accepted to Tuskegee University in 2016. Five Road trips to the elite campus, to accept an offer at its rival Alabama State University. We fell in love with the rich tradition Macon holds, so after sharing my "Golden Opportunities" here, born at John A. Andrew Hospital, after high school accepted on a music scholarship and half a century later, we are here, be it unknowns to me, my daughter LOVES "The Pig!" Forget, I was a former employee who enjoyed my time there. Spencer would be like a son to me, since I don't have one, and LaToya and Desiree are my mini-me's (when I used to manage in other fields), and then there is Tarik, all managers and staff we were like a family unit focused on as quick as they come in, check them out, making the prices are right. My mark to them was "Hold IT Down!" They are. And for that, I am proud! That is where I met the town. Heyyy! Go Team Piggly Wiggly!”
“When I walked in it was clean, organized, and seemed to be sufficiently stocked. The manager on duty seemed to be professional and about her business. The sales associate was polite and his level of professionalism was appropriate for the setting. I believe his name was Cam.”
“Convenience, affordable pricing, Family Foods is the go to for that down home friendly feel. Aware of the eateries, entertainment, and seeing the sign with Tall Letters-FAMILY FOODS, not knowing another grocer retail was a few blocks around the corner until a few road blocks later. Not ever disappointed though, because the customer service reminded me of days of my youth-"Hello, welcome to Family Foods!" The selection of fresh produce and meats was overwhelming and I to make matters worst, I caught a sale, ? LOL! The grocery baggers are attentive to the customers with the assistance of providing help with lifting heavy items and carry out. Then one day, I met the owner, and that is an experience I will NOT ever FORGET!”
