“Old school hardware store with knowledgeable staff!! Replacement cartridge for an old Delta faucet? No problem, and I didn’t have to search through an entire bay of stuff (they were behind the counter). They also helped me replace missing “oddball” hardware for assembling a baby crib. Highly recommend, will be back.”
“Got into wood working as a hobby, bought the best slabs of wood from this gentleman. He even talked me up to trying to actual execute a challenging project. I was successful. Smart man. I bought perhaps 6 slabs of various wood, some was well dried sweet gum. Most beautiful piece I ever made was a result of y’all. Thank you.

“Since we are from out of town, we only visit when we go to UAB. Initially a window display lured my husband in to get a product he had been looking for at the big box stores with no luck. We ended up coming out with 8 items, several of which he had been looking for for a good while. Great experience with all the products we bought when we visited! They have products that you can only find in an old time hardware store. We also called several months after our last visit with questions about reorder on a product we were especially happy with that no one offered locally. They checked to see if another was in stock. Said they were out, but would order for us and took our name & number to call when it comes in! Thanks for the great customer service in person & over the phone!!! We will be back again when we are in B'ham!”

The staff took the time to educate me about the process of painting my car myself, explaining the pros and cons clearly. Everyone I interacted with was respectful and had a joyful smile on their face, which made the experience even better. “I stop by looking for a particular item that they carried but it was packaged extremely to large for what I needed. But, I purchased it anyway. That’s why I giving them a 4.5 today!It seems like they only carried the item now in larger sizes and the price are higher! Whew! Inflation is serious!I also checked outside in their garden & flowers area for some plants. That was a let down bc it was only a small amount of flowers left on a pallet to select from. I was looking for the split leaf philodendron, but the Associates/ man told me that they didn’t not have any more house plants. They would not be getting any more for the year. So, that was a little let down!So, I gathered my items and headed to check out. the cashier/she was very nice and friendly. She assisted me with my items and I was on my way. The store is a midsize place, it’s clean inside, has music playing overhead. I’ve always received good help & I’m pleased with this Hardware store!“HAPPY HARDWARE SHOPPING!””
“Great place to get tools! It has the most of what you would need in my opinion and I've worked in construction, home remodling /renovations, and the auto industry. Obviously they are not a place you can go and buy boxes of nails or screws to build a room but they have the tools to help you get it done for cheaper. They have very good warranties also!”

“The man behind the counter has always bent over backwards to find a way to get a replacement barrons or belts in the size in need .even if they do have the exact barron or belt he finds a way. I have never left there empty handed .this time it was belt for my new 20 hours old Arien Zero Turn deck belt .he had to order it and it came to my house the day he said it would. He always has a Smile on his face .I lost his card but he is the young man that shaves his head . Go by and see him ..and you will save a lot of money ..the local parts stores will break the bank .
