“I love the atmosphere here.... it's right next to Juniper and General. I purchased a pansy orchid that's almost ready to blossom and a few tulip & narcissus bulbs. Very friendly environment. I think you can also rent the greenhouse which looks phenomenal in other photos I've seen. As a privately owned establishment, the price$$ are reasonable if you're looking to stay away from big box centers. Go in a buy something.... tell the fellas hello ♡DeShelle♡”

“Beautiful little shop. I was greeted by every employee . Every employee was busy with different tasks. I couldn't believe the customer service and the eagerness to assist. Everything in the store was breathtaking from perrienalls,annuals, containers, Christmas decorations and tropical plants. This is a really great place to visit for gifts and gardening. One employee even helped me back up into traffic by stopping cars. This is such a rare find. Great job guys !!!”

“Oak street is a wonderful local garden shop with very knowledgeable staff. They have a great variety of both indoor and outdoor plants, and are willing to help you find and order what ever special plant you are looking for. Prices are consistent with other local garden shops in the Birmingham area. The quality of plants are far better than what you would find in a box store. They also make custom live arrangements and make deliveries.”

They gave me great recommendations for local flora and were able to deliver my order straight to the hotel after making the order at 4:30 the previous day. “I seriously cannot explain how wonderful my experience at The Home Depot Hwy 280 was earlier this week. For the past few weeks my childhood dog has been fighting for his life, and what we all feared would happen reached it's fever pitch on Wednesday; We were advised to put him down as soon as possible. In the midst of freak sadness, I drove to The Home Depot determined to build a doggie casket - or, otherwise seen as, a simple wooden box. Walking through the doors, and back towards the lumber section, I quickly came to realize how little I knew about anything I was here to do. Which wood did I need? What hardware was necessary? Were my dimensions even right? I had no idea, so I just started wandering. Before I could stomach the thought that I should probably give up and just go home - I was approached by Austin S. Austin was incredibly nice and personable right off the bat, and quickly the conversation of my dogs soon-to-be passing came up. He showed me nothing but empathy and understanding. Without a second thought he dropped everything to help me not only finalize my dimensions, pick the best wood for the job, cut the lumber, and pick out hardware - BUT HE TOOK THE LEAD ON HELPING ME ASSEMBLE THE CASKET! It was service like I had truly never seen from an establishment, and I hope Home Depot never loses talent like Austin. To wrap up, he priced all the materials together and walked the fully built casket out to my car for loading. Thank you, Home Depot Hwy 280 - thanks to you my precious pet will be honored exactly the way I had hoped. This will never be forgotten!”

“Was in the area, Courtney has been talking for a while about wanting to buy himself a tool set. So we came into Home Depot. I've had some issues with other HD in the area especially when ordering items online from them so I figure it's always better to shop in store. We walked around for a while. Looking at tools, light fixtures and other items. Honestly, HD is one of those stores you can walk around in and just look at all sorts of items and be entertained for a long period of time! Though we did walk out empty handed, we still had fun looking at the various items sold in store!”

Reasonable price.i found out they do curb pick up and they do recycle for me I've been buying tools lawn movers drills saws Sanders wrench sets. MY husband has all the tools he need I still go to home depot and buy other thing's from there.for him and myself. Check them out summer isn't over yet for your home improvement they have what you need.”

“Store 0881 the experience I had at this store is something to brag about. I saw on their online site that they carried this certain item, so I drove there to purchase it. I get there and asked a worker what I was looking for and showed him the picture on their site, he told me I had to order it and have it shipped. I left and as I was walking to my car, I saw another worker, who turned out to be a manager, we walked back in the store and looked up the product I was searching for. Well they had plenty in stock. Damion was the manager who helped means doe my troubles he gave me 10 bucks off the price.I get to the register to check out told the cashier what Damion said and she didn't question me not once. That Cashier's name was Alissa very polite lady. Had a nice conversation with me. Before I could finish my transaction Damion walked up to make sure I was properly taking care of.”
