“Haley was so sweet in the bakery! She went above and beyond to help me. I didn't get a basket or buggy when I first went in because I only expected to get the cookie cake but then I saw Easter stuff and needed a few Easter items. I was dropping stuff trying to hold it all. Haley was headed to take care of something else but saw me dropping stuff and came to help. Then kindly asked if I needed something written on my cake. Even though she clearly needed to go take care of something else. That was very kind. Thanks Haley!”

“This is one of my favorite stores. The staff is helpful and professional. Prices are great. They have the best produce ?My only complaint is how corporate office is polluting clean ingredient items with subpar ingredients and fillers. Some examples are the angus hotdogs(gone), the canned Whip cream(dextrose instead of cane sugar), and cauliflower pizza ( corn based ingredients added) to name just three things.”
“Everyone here is so sweet. I'm always greeted when I walk in the door. The only downside to this store is it's the only grocery store around for at least 15 miles, so their prices are a little more than average, but it's worth going to when you have a store with excellent customer service.”

“This was the absolute best Dollar General I've ever stopped at. I happen to stop at this particular store with it being Saturday to use my $5 off coupon. When I finished my purchases the cashier explained you saved this much in store credit you say this much using your digital coupon you say this much using your $5 off today. I have never had a Dollar General employee explained this to me. Additionally, it was also printed this way on my register receipt which has never happened before at any Dollar General. This completely clarified all of my purchases and all of my discounts! I absolutely loved this. I would highly recommend you stop here especially if you're going to use a discount, a digital coupon or just want a truly courteous and friendly atmosphere.”

“Had the most refreshing experience in this Dollar general. Employee named Jessica went out of her way to check prices on an item I didn't even bring to the register. I asked if she thought the item I was looking at might be included in the sale and she said she wasn't sure and went and got the item and checked the price. Excellent customer service!!!”
“I don't know where they got this employee from her name is Carol and she is your most customer-friendly person I have ever met in my entire life after working 20 years in banking and majority of that and customer service that's what brings your customers back kudos to Carol at Dollar General in Walsboro”

“This place is great. I'm from Arizona and I haven't found a place there in 22 years with a friendly staff like they have. Very cheerful. “If you are lucky enough to get across the busy- non traffic light deemed unnecessary by our elected ones - road, and you are able to drive on the 2 feet of actual parking lot without dropping off into a giant crater, and your oil pan is still intact, then I would strongly suggest you visit the meat department. It's great”
“Update #2: Post COVID inflation has seemingly given corporations carte blanch to artificially inflate profits to ridiculous levels which is not Walmarts fault though Walmart is no better with it's security theater about how shoplifting is ruining the company while having 10 billion plus in gross profits yearly and also increasing significantly consistently yearly. All these huge corporations have seeminly came down with bad cases of greediness.
Update: Scan and Go is awesome! I never would have known how much I would like being able to scan my stuff as i put it in my cart then just going up to the register scanning my phone and im done. The 12.95 a month for Walmart+ is a little steep though for the minimal amounts of benefits you get its really not worth it. If it weren't for the scan and go I definitely would have canceled it by now.
Original review: It is the devil lol. I believe when you go in your in some weird parallel universe that compels you to buy a bunch of 2.99, 4.99, 5.99 items and somehow 7 items total up to $80 once you ring it up. It defies all logic, my favorite is the clearance isles with stuff they have never sold there ever but its there on clearance.”
“I was in the area and i so happened to stop by. I was thoroughly impressed w/ the friendly customer service I received by the young lady at the store. My only complaint however is that it's so hot almost as if the air conditioning isn't working in the store. Besides that I give them a 5 star rating.”
