Aviator Hotel Anchorage is currently undergoing reconstruction, which has impacted some guest experiences. The rooms are described as nice and comfy, with very big and wide beds. However, some guests have noted that their rooms were not cleaned for a week after arrival. The hotel lacks a kitchen, gym, and free laundry, making it feel expensive compared to other options that offer these amenities. Despite these issues, the staff, including housekeepers, are praised for being very nice and trustworthy, and the overall service is respectful and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Anchorage, with easy access to bus transit and the 5th Ave mall, making it easy to find good places to eat and drink nearby. On the downside, there have been reports of theft, including stolen tablets, and concerns about bedbugs in some rooms. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable stay with friendly staff, but guests should be aware of ongoing construction and service limitations.
Getting reconstructed this year, the rooms are nice and comfy, the beds are very big and wide but my room wasn’t cleaned yet, a week after my arrival has passed tho. No kitchen, no gym, no free laundry. So it is quite expensive counting having all of these things somewhere else as well. 3 out of 5
