About Econo Inn
Econo Inn is a budget-friendly hotel that has seen some recent improvements in its management and operations. While the hotel's location in a slightly rougher part of town can be a concern for some guests, the staff is described as friendly, hardworking, and making efforts to maintain a clean and secure environment. The rooms are generally reported to be comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with some guests praising the spaciousness and the quality of the beds. The on-site Japanese restaurant, Dami, also receives positive reviews. However, the hotel's proximity to social issues like homelessness, drug use, and disturbances can impact the overall atmosphere and sense of safety for some visitors. The hotel's staff is said to do their best to address these challenges, but they remain a factor for those seeking a completely peaceful stay. Overall, Econo Inn seems to offer a reasonably priced and well-kept accommodation option, particularly for those who don't mind the gritty character of the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel's affordability, convenient location, and hardworking staff make it a viable choice for budget-conscious travelers.
Awesome service. Front desk was amazing. Rooms were awesome. My boyfriend and I loved it there.

If I could give it a lower rating than a one star I would. This hotel is not safe for families. There is hardly no one at the front desk, the rooms are extremely dirty, the shower is completely small and it is overall the worst place to stay. If you end up there make sure you bring protection with you.

Just go elsewhere. There's homeless spewing blood all over the parking lot. Rooms reek of cigarettes and the floors are sticky. Had another reservation booked the night I left Anchorage and they gave it up during the Trump summit so everything else was booked.
