The Sheraton Anchorage Hotel is located right in downtown Anchorage, within minutes of local businesses, restaurants, and gift shops. It is a walkable end-of-downtown location. The hotel is not new and shows its age in some areas, with bathrooms feeling a bit dated. However, the rooms are very nice, clean, and pretty renovated, with great views of the city or Merrill Field airport. Some rooms are spacious suites. The lobby has a retro feel. The staff is noted as the nicest. There is a nice, relaxing lounge and a spacious gym with an awesome view. Breakfast is considered expensive. Some minor maintenance issues were noted.
We got upgraded which was awesome, super beautiful view of the mountains from our room. Great location, and friendly service. The renovations look great. The gym is huge, not sure what the plan is but the view is awesome from up there. Would check out spa next time.

Front lobby on 6th Street was under construction (Feb 2, 2026). Appetizers in the Club Lounge where scrumptious. Views from my room were amazing. Go to the fitness center for better panoramic views. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

this place is good with good free fast wifi the service is good and the location is good it has a good view out the windows overall experience is good and i will continue to stay with them in the future.
