“The best gift shop in Anchorage! Yes, it has quilt and yarn supplies but it also has unique gifts that feature work by local artists. Many of the quilts are designed by local artists, too, and the fiber/yarn offerings are local. The prices were better than I saw things offered elsewhere and the quality was better. Definitely put Cabin Fever on your list for gifts for family, friends, and for you!”

“Was a cool place. They werent actively making any when we were there which was a bummer. It would have been nice to have some signs explaining the process as the worker was brand new and really couldn't explain much. There was a video we watched which explained more but was pretty quiet.”

“I love this little store. They have EVERYTHING! They have snacks, medicine, drinks, gifts and basically everything you'd need to make your stay in Anchorage enjoyable. I've visited them for years and the staff is always friendly. The prices are very reasonable, especially for Alaska. I'm glad they are in the Hilton and I hope they never go away.”

“We visited this souvenir shop inside the train station early in the morning before taking our train to Fairbanks, and it was a really nice find.
They have a great selection of Alaska Railroad souvenirs — hoodies, t-shirts, magnets, and many different types of gifts, including options for kids. Everything is nicely displayed and easy to browse.
A perfect stop if you’re traveling by train and want a special souvenir!”

“This is not fancy, but it is a “stack it high and let it fly”…..eg. Lots of stuff at low prices. Probably the lowest prices on T-Shirts I saw in the city. Many many things to buy that have Alaska logos on them!

“Be patient with their hours, usually Mon-Th 11-2 in the main hospital building. Elevate Alaska Native artists from all around the state, and support this totally volunteer-run store.”
“We received the warmest welcome here of all the Anchorage gift shops we visited. We loved that their store features unique gifts created by 100+ local artists. Their prices were reasonable and there was a nice variety of foods, artwork, clothing and jewelry. We purchased a beautifully crafted zipper bag with a nature motif as well as charming Christmas tree ornaments. They even helped us by suggesting some great restaurant options for dinner.”

“I wouldn’t say “high end” but has some more pricey items compared to Polar Bear Gifts. I really enjoyed their knife selection and their staff was incredibly helpful and patient. I would definitely visit again and I recommend you checking them out for your Alaska Souvenirs.”
