The usual Costco strategy of selling large amounts of a limited selection of goods at good prices. Doesn't carry office electronics (computers, monitors, printers), no food court, go to the usual Costco for those.”

“we love this market! today we came for teas, soaps, shampoos, lotion etc. and we found so many extra sustainable goodies.we love the variety of alaskan products, browsing and trying new things. we also get our cooking oils, spices, ak honey, and dry goods. they have coffee, pastries, fresh baked bread, meats, ice cream.the refill process was a little confusing at first as a beginner but the staff is very friendly and helpful, you can bring your own jars to refill or they have jars for .50¢.it’s a fun way to support alaskan small businesses and also reduce your single use plastics.”

“Been going here with my mom since I was a kid and now I shop there and I bring my kids. I believe it's owned by two Korean sisters now. I'm usually going there with a list of things my mom needs. I find the owners to be very helpful. Sometime the grocery stores stocked and sometimes it's not. It's just hit or miss for a small local Korean store.”

“Oh my goodness, where do I start? Best service ever for rural Alaska. My orders are placed and in a timely manner, extremely fast, like next day it is being processed and I generally receive the second day after placing an order. Freshest items, packed so neatly, ice packs and all in a very nice tote. You can ask that items that are out of stock not be replaced with something similar. Big thumbs up and totally recommend. “I guess it is the only convenient store around here, the chicken noodle soup is okay, might have been better, the ham croissant is good. The choice is small but you can find basic stuff like detergent, noodles, toothpaste. Too many homeless people are usually entering the store”

“I want to thank a very patient cashier Fedelyn who was very gracious to a customer that was not only harassing her but did not seem to understand the free Turkey program. She made this cashier redo her entire order as she did not understand the Turkey needed to be scanned in for stocking purposes and the member savings showing she was not charged. I witnessed this very kind cashier quoting the cost from the first transaction being identical for the second transaction. This occurred on 11-16-2024 around 8 pm. This customer left and came back in yelling at her again.
Please recognize this staff member is very customer service orientated and even under the pressure of an agitated and quite rude customer she was very professional, kind and calm. She handled this transaction very well!”

“Online it said they opened at 1100 but they actually open at 1200 on the weekend. I happened to show up when they were unloading goods and they were kind enough to let me come in and purchase what I needed. Lovely staff!”

“I generally shop at carrs(Safeway), but my wife wanted me to bring the son to her work and Fred Meyers was next door so I decided to take a trip to a store that I normally don't visit nor do I care too.
Every year it seems they change the layout and it gets harder to find something that I want every time.
Parking is generally adequate at best, personally I feel they could use more parking.
I had a rather unpleasant experience due to the way product was stacked on shelves when I removed an object another one fell from a higher stack falling to the floor creating a big slippery/ slick mess of peaches and peach juice, I let an associate know about the problem he Shrugged and didn't seem that responsive to it.
Prices are moderate up here in Alaska we will pay pretty much the standard price and they're usually within a dollar(+ or -) of any of their other competitors.
As it goes for actual products on the Shelf there's a wide variety whether it be healthy foods or unhealthy Foods clothing name brand or off brand they carry pretty much everything.
there's even a small Hardware section for the DIY home user don't expect to find large items, but for the quick trip around the corner just to get something to hang a picture or other small Hardware needs.”
