“Best storage unit experience I’ve had! Robin was super accommodating. Upon giving notice they didn’t charge me a whole next month like U-Haul would, the just prorated the 5 more days I would be occupying the unit before my move. If they have availability and you need a unit in Anchorage, go with Publix.”
“After using multiple other trailer storage facilities in town I can say this is by far the nicest and easiest to access storage facility in Anchorage. The trailer storage has large spaces and roadways making getting in and out easy! Well maintained and great staff, cannot recommend enough.”

“Storio Storage at 610 West Fireweed Lane in Anchorage is terrific. Manager Dana is extremely helpful, polite and responsive to questions. I had to store my household belongings for a few years. My belongings were safe and dry in an indoor temperature controlled unit. 24 hour access 7 days a week. It was a comfort knowing my stuff was safe! Highly recommend this location!!”

“Container specialists saved the day for my family and I. They effeciently and professionally moved two loaded containers to our new location. Karen was wonderful to deal with getting the move set up and scheduled, she was kind, friendly and an expert in her field. “We’ve had one of their smaller temp controlled units for the past 2 years. It was super easy process from beginning to end, good communication and professional. Our unit never had any issues, our stuff stayed in good condition with the controlled temp. Never saw any concerns or issues throughout the grounds and price seemed very reasonable during our lease, would definitely recommend”

“I can't say anything bad about this place except the entry keypad misses numbers sometimes and you might have to enter your # a couple times to get the gate to open. It beeps when you push the button correctly, but you can't hear the beep most times....”

“Have used Ship Creek Storage for both item and vehicle storage and have been very happy. Recently I moved my car back to my place before the end of the month intending to cancel storage and forgot to do so before I saw the bill that happens at start of month. "Oops oh well" I thought. But they noticed I removed the car, emailed to ask if I still wanted the spot, I said no and they refunded the charge for the month, all without me ever even asking. Can't imagine better customer service than that.”

Booked a Transit Van online to use as a cheap rental car for a week visit to AK. Arrived late due to flight delays (1am) & the U-Haul app didn't like that fact, but the manager of this location replied to my text in the middle of the night & fast-tracked me through the process with just a picture of my DL & a confirmation of the vehicle equipment ID number. He even credited the delayed pickup time onto the end of my rental window. Truck was brand new with only 100miles on it. Best U-Haul experience I've had honestly.”
“Great Place to store! Older Mini-storage with great rates and locally owned. Just Changed their name to Discount Storage which fits their prices! After calling around I was surprised at the discounted rate I was offered!!Easy access for my large moving truck. They were quick to give me free recycled packing boxes when I ran out...I'd stopped by the office to buy boxes and they offered the use of recycled boxes that you return when you move out. Great idea! I'm looking forward to free heat in winter and there's no hidden fees such as computer fees, sign up fees etc. one guy I met had been there 3 years and hadn't had a rent increase. I called around to other storage companies and none would guarantee no rate increase for 6 months or more like Discount did. The unit I rented was $80 cheaper than the closest competitor!!Great price and Nice people!”

“High fives to Kone and Nio for being exceptional movers! They worked non-stop to pack up my house over 2 days. I had large items, fragile goods, plus a motorcycle that they packed with care for its long journey to the lower 48. These are some of the hardest-working guys I've seen, and definitely the best crew of movers I've ever worked with. They were friendly, professional, courteous, showed up on time, and stayed late to make sure everything got done; all while being short one crew member and traveling to a remote location. I couldn't be happier with the work they did - thank you!!!”

They unloaded, placed (delivered to specified rooms at our direction), and unpacked (at my request) over 8,000 lbs of stuff in under 6 hours without damaging anything. “The lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. We looked at several of the open units so I could determine what size I wanted. There was a discrepancy with the size of the unit and what the listed size was. But after a phone call to one of the managers and measuring the unit it was all sorted out. The place looks clean and well kept. I feel safe leaving my items here in storage.”

“CJ was probably one of the most responsive (quick and clear) and helpful people that I have had interaction with in YEARS! We needed a spot to store our van - with power- for about three months July- September. I was nervous about being able to find a spot so I started looking in January. That was a bit early but CJ made a point of letting me know the best time to check back and made certain we were taken care of. His assurance that ‘he’d make it work/have a spot for us’ was so reassuring that I didn’t even look anywhere else for a spot. Great guy!”
