“I stand by my 5 start review of Carlile and using MyConnect! It has not only saved us hundreds of dollars in shipping costs, but we've also been able to ship hazmat items that wouldn't ship to Alaska! Today, we picked up two boxes totaling 145# and saved over $300 in shipping from what we were quoted by the company we purchased from. While customer service can sometimes be less than mediocre, more times than not, the guys in there are awesome, manhandling heavy boxes and loading my vehicle! Carlile is my first thought anymore when ordering anything from the lower 48! These guys/gals work their tail off, don't forget to thank them profusely for their hard work!”

“The service at this FedEx Office Print & Ship Center is great! The man who helped me get my things together was really helpful!! Though, I must mention that my visit was highly uncomfortable, as there was a customer there who has apparently never seen a Black person before.In her whole life.So, in wonderment and amazement, she stood in one spot and stared at me for the whole of my visit. She just stood there and stared at me. Like a possessed person.Like I am both Eng and Cheng.Like I had a uni-horn protruding from my forehead.Like I had an appendage growing from the small of my back and had glowing, sparkling, glittery skin.Like she really, really, truly had n.e.v.e.r. seen a Black person before, in her entire life. Ever.She burned a whole in the back of my head for, at the very least, 15-20 minutes strong. While her child had no mask. In fact, while she was looking at me she should have been looking for a mask for her child.At the time Alaska had one of the highest Covid-19 patients in ICU rates in the country.Her curiosity about what the Black person in the room was doing was more important than the health of her child.Make it make sense.Welcome to a day in my life.”

“These people are on their A game. I usually hold packages for pickup here so porch thieves can't steal my stuff, and they're always super nice during pickup. Recently, I had to ship a package internationally though. I went to USPS first, asked for help with custom forms, USPS was rude and did not want to help at all. DHL made everything seem crystal clear and the package made it to the destination no problem. With friendly service becoming harder to find today, I am 100% grateful for the service DHL provides and the people who do it.”

Dan at Relocators International is super responsive, flexible options, and will offer the best price hands down. 10x better than dealing with other companies who don’t pick up their phone or respond to emails. “I've come to this FedEx location many times for my printing, copying, and fax needs. Procedures change, but they remain efficient and easy. Most recently I needed to print something from my email. FedEx makes it easy to get done. They even provide pens, staplers, etc. Bring your credit/debit card(s). Workers are available, but I appreciate the option to be independent.”

“This place is busy and if you have patience your will be served well. If not you will be upset and make their day worse too. Many times I am there for an Amazon return. THEY NOW have a self serve return kiosk. This is a huge benefit I would say for everyone!! Simply scan your return QR CODE and then bag and seal it yourself. Drop it into the bin! Done! In a hurry? This is great! A help to the over busy usually one person staff. Bravo and another reason why I like this store.They have PO BOXES too if you need and all the other stuff you would expect at a UPS store.”

“I usually go to the sand lake post office, but decided to stop by the Huffman location due to being nearby. A woman by the name of Sasha helped me. She was a delight! Very professional and made my day brighter with her genuine positivity. I believe it was a Wednesday and there was a line ahead of me. She was working alone and she had the line moving fairly quickly! That woman is remarkable, I hope your treating her well as she treated me very well!”

“I recently ordered a package from overseas to be shipped to a friend as a gift. Tracking information showed the package arrived in Anchorage, but just sat somewhere for over a week with the ominous status: "Delayed - Attention Needed". No details, no other information. Tried calling the 800 number but they were of little help. They said only that the delivery date would be updated soon; not to worry about trying to pick up in person.Each day I wondered about the fate of "The Package". Each day, there came no updates. I reached out to the seller to see if they could find out what was happening. They were able to determine that UPS would not deliver to the address on file (a PO Box), and would not be transfering to USPS as expected. Seller tried to update to a different mailing address but was apparently unsuccessful. Then this morning, the tracking status finally updated -> "Return to Sender". Stated cannot deliver to a PO Box. (Information that would have been helpful a week ago...)Tried calling the 800 number again. The woman I spoke to said not to worry about this - I could stop by the Lockheed location by the airport to pick up the package today.So off I went. I arrived at the UPS facility on Lockheed, and was met by Jenny at the front desk. "Are you picking up a package?" she asked. "I certainly hope so", I replied. I opened with details of my conversation with the 800 worker this morning. The expression on Jenny's face prepared me for potentially bad news. She warned me that if the package had already been designated as "Return to Sender" that it was probably too late. I was pretty upset at the thought that I had narrowly missed this thing being put back on a plane.Slightly exasperated, I launched into the saga of "The Package" and saw her expression brighten. "Vesta?" she called out. "Do you remember that package from the UK going to the PO Box in Chugiak?" Vesta called out from the back that she did. Jenny asked if she knew where it was, and Vesta emerged seconds later, package in hand. The weeks-long saga was over in less than 5 minutes. I'll need to hand off the package myself at this point but I'm happy to do it.Jenny and Vesta are the best. Thank you ladies!!”
