“I shopped at AC Alaska Commercial Company over several days in February 2025. At that time, the store was incredibly well stocked and inviting (although, like the lower 48 states, they were out of eggs). The store allowed me to buy much appreciated rubber boots for the unseasonal thaw :) They offered cell phone coverage as well as groceries, hardware, banking, deli etc etc. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? It was a bit pricey although for southwest Alaska it was perhaps the norm.”
