“Worst customer experience ive had with a car rental. Provided a smaller car than the class i rented, on finding that the car had an issue with the wiper not wiping the car windshield, stared blankly and told me "So?" Even though this was a safety issue. Would not recommend
Edit: Ashley the team lead was able to resolve all our issues promptly after being notified and provided compensation for the car class difference. We really appreciated her stepping in to resolve the situation and she was a highlight of our trip”

“We rented a truck from this location over the Christmas holiday. We did encounter an issue with our first truck, however after a telephone call, they were quick to swap the truck out right away. The onsite manager was very helpful and friendly!”

“I highly recommend this place! The staff was incredibly helpful and saved our family vacation! We recently bought a used camper van and had it delivered, but the seller didn't disclose that the battery was faulty. After getting stranded and needing jump starts a few times during our trip, one of the team members came to the rescue and replaced our hard-to-find battery. Thank you so much!”

Zacary provided great service at check in and return, answering all of our questions and providing an ice scraper and charging cord for the car when it didn't have one. The Jeep drove very well on the unplowed roads and we were glad we had such a reliable car for winter.”

We just got back from driving up through the Arctic Circle to Prospect Creek. We were on the road in half an hour..our vehicle didnt miss a beat and the tram in Fairbanks couldnt have been more helpful

“We fly out of Alaska, pick up a car somewhere, visit family in the lower 48 and turn it in at a different location. Alamo ALWAYS has the lowest rates when we do this. Every location we go to is always courteous, knowledgeable, staff is helpful and the cars are always clean and newer. Our last trip, picked up an SUV at O'Hare and returning to St. Louis, is no exception. Due to an issue on the airfield we didn't get to the rental car agency until about 1:45 AM, had to go to National, about 50 feet away to get the car and was given an SUV with less than 2000 miles on it. Seamless turn in at the St. Louis airport. We always appreciate such great servide.”

“This was a fantastic car rental experience. The girls at the counter were super nice and helpful. We got a great 4WD car that didn’t even need to be plugged in during the cold weather and had no problem on the snowy roads (those that did need plugged in they provided extension chords and instructions for). It was great!”

“I wanted to say a huge thank you to Ginger (long, curly hair) at Dollar Car Rental at FAI. I arrived on the late flight from Seattle on July 12 and was horrified to find my credit card company had cancelled my card en route - which meant renting the car was a problem. As stressed as I was - unable to contact my bank online or by phone it being Friday night, and knowing any problem would not be addressed until Monday at the earliest - she was so kind and patient and reassuring, promising me that she would help me - that even with the endless paperwork she had to do, she got me out of there with a car. More than that, when I returned over a week later - the flight again, as usual, leaving at midnight - she again did all she could to sort out the payments/refunds of deposit etc and insisted I go to get my plane. She was so utterly kind again, and a credit to Dollar - please thank her for me! James”
