“I highly recommend this place! The staff was incredibly helpful and saved our family vacation! We recently bought a used camper van and had it delivered, but the seller didn't disclose that the battery was faulty. After getting stranded and needing jump starts a few times during our trip, one of the team members came to the rescue and replaced our hard-to-find battery. Thank you so much!”

We just got back from driving up through the Arctic Circle to Prospect Creek. We were on the road in half an hour..our vehicle didnt miss a beat and the tram in Fairbanks couldnt have been more helpful

“We fly out of Alaska, pick up a car somewhere, visit family in the lower 48 and turn it in at a different location. Alamo ALWAYS has the lowest rates when we do this. Every location we go to is always courteous, knowledgeable, staff is helpful and the cars are always clean and newer. Our last trip, picked up an SUV at O'Hare and returning to St. Louis, is no exception. Due to an issue on the airfield we didn't get to the rental car agency until about 1:45 AM, had to go to National, about 50 feet away to get the car and was given an SUV with less than 2000 miles on it. Seamless turn in at the St. Louis airport. We always appreciate such great servide.”

We got a great 4WD car that didn’t even need to be plugged in during the cold weather and had no problem on the snowy roads (those that did need plugged in they provided extension chords and instructions for). “I was more than a little intimidated by the snow and cold temps, but the staff at Alaska Auto Rental gave me plenty of good advice, and their outstanding rental cars did the rest! All of their cars are fully winterized, so even though it got down into the negative 40s the car ran just fine. Unlike some of the other rental companies, they install quality snow tires on all of their cars as well, so I felt comfortable driving both on the snowy roads outside of town and on Fred Meyer's icy skating rink of a parking lot.
You know a company is doing a good job when random locals spot your 'Alaska Auto Rental' sticker on the back of your rental and come over to tell you that you made a good choice, which happened to me twice over the course of a two-day rental!”
