“What a delightful find. This comfortable hotel has a kind and generous staff. They work hard to meet guests’ needs. They make you breakfast. When we had an early flight they packed us a picnic breakfast. The shuttle picks you up from the airport and cruise ships. It has a downtown schedule.”

Kody welcomed me and my daughter after a long journey and provided a wonderful first impression with a beautiful smile and calm welcome. The shuttle driver was equally friendly and eager to help with luggage. Several other staff that we interacted with seemed genuinely happy to be there. I'm really happy that I choose this hotel for our stay! Rooms were comfortable and clean, hotel was very quiet, and lobby was welcoming also. Great grab and go breakfast choices made our morning easier.”

“I really liked the location of this hotel; it is central and close to many restaurants and shops where you can find all sorts of things. The room was nice and quite comfortable, and the housekeeping service was excellent. Breakfast is included—it’s a buffet, so you can eat as much as you like, which I really appreciated. The staff was also very pleasant at all times; Diana was always attentive to our needs and gave us several recommendations for nearby restaurants. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you have the chance.Si”

“Everything I could have asked for in a stay. Pleasant staff, nice rooms, great scenic view, all located within a short walk to everything Juneau! The shuttle is a plus and the staff were 100% awesome. They were able to answer all my questions of where to go and how to go about it. They are connected to The Sandpiper Cafe which is a local favorite with excellent food! 5★/5★ would recommend. I'll definitely be back!”

“The hotel it self could use some TLC, but you get what you pay for right? In Juneau you’re not gonna find anything better priced than this, I got a king bed and it had a bathroom, an almost new, decently sized tv, the remote is actually very responsive! The room also has a coffee maker, coffee pods. The hotel is within about 6 minutes walking to the cruise ships, and within 3 minutes of many awesome shops! On the gripe stuff, my door stuck really badly, had to give it a solid hit to open. When you looked around the building some of the trim looks… like ripped off or in bad condition. The air conditioning has a knob but it seems like more of a suggestion than a command when used. It sorta makes the ac do stuff but also not really, it kind of runs on its own. The walls are very thin, so you can hear people pretty well. The sheets aren’t the softest thing in the world, but for sure gets the job done but im a sensitive sleeper so I think most people won’t care a whole lot. Also the window was sticky to open and close. Overall though, if you’re spending just a few nights in Juneau, you will be okay here. If you have the money that you don’t mind spending and are here for an extended stay you should go elsewhere. My room for a single king bed was 135$. Seriously you’re not going to find anything cheaper than that in Juneau. As the saying goes you get what you pay for and the Baranof hotel certainly meets that for my standards.”
