The Driftwood Lodge offers nice and comfortable rooms, some with brick walls and kitchenettes. The accommodations are clean and quiet, though some rooms can get hot and there were isolated issues with hot water. The location is perfect, close to everything Juneau. It is within a short walk to downtown, the cruise ship docks, grocery stores, restaurants, and a museum. A convenient corner store is right outside. It is connected to The Sandpiper Cafe, a local favorite and award-winning restaurant with excellent food and supper yummy breakfast, and a cafe with good coffee is nearby. The price is very good and practical. The staff are pleasant, super friendly, kind, and awesome, always ready to help. A shuttle service is a plus. Overall, it is a great place with everything you could possibly need for a stay.
Solid hotel. Not the fanciest, but clean, good location. Would definitely return.

I had a good stay here, The room on the second floor was hot and the only way to truly cool it off was opening the door, which didn't do so well for privacy. Day 2 of my stay there was not hot water. Otherwise, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Staff was super friendly. Great diner next door too.

Perfect location. Just a 10 or 15 minute walk to downtown, and the cruise ship docks etc. The rooms are nice enough. Price is very good. Grocery store and restaurants just a few minutes walk.
