“I'm not sure what Ketchikan would do without having a walmart. Walmart simply helps people live better by spreading their dollar further. The smaller community that don't have a Walmart sure wish they did. Many of them travel by ferry when possible to towns that have Walmarts and bring supplies back. Walmart simply helps the average person live a better quality life.”

“Good variety, decent sales. Friendly employees. Has a bank, florist, baker, deli, fresh produce(as fresh as one can expect when dealing with barges), meat dept and adult drink store. Don't want deli food? Go to taco time for some Lumpia and other dishes besides taco stuff.”

“They have fresh pizza that will hit the spot, its better if you buy a whole fresh pizza and not the single slices they have sitting under heat lamp for fast on the go orders. On the other side of the store there is a decent selection of liquors. It's also a gas station.”

“The staff at Walmart are so nice. The smell in the store is horrid. Please invest in some aromatherapy as this place stinks. I feel sorry for the workers who spend 8 hours a day in a stinky environment.”

“This is one of Three places you can get groceries Alaskan&Proud is Second the Third being Walmart but only because technically they have Some grocery items but Super Store they are not. Being open until midnight and being the closest to downtown is what makes them 4star.”

“I am currently on an Alaskan Cruise and decided to see what grocery stores are like in Alaska. When I first walked into this store, I noticed that the place was very clean. The wooden floors did not have any dirt or stains on them. There's tons of food options. I noticed that there were lots of Asian snacks, like bin-bin rice crackers and the strawberry panda crackers that I like. I was a bit surprised by some of the food prices. Cherries were about $5 a pound and a gallon of milk costed $5.29. I am not sure if these prices are typical in Alaska. In California, I'm usually able to pay $2-3 for a gallon of milk. There were not too many organic vegetables. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but one customer told me that the store is 100 years old!”
