“I love this store lived here for 25 plus year and always make a stop here at least once a day. I've seen employees come and go and some really cool employees, unfortunately there's one that works the graveyard shift that couldn't be more rude and disrespectful. His name is TJ so he says and works graveyard, I went in to get water for my dogs and tried the water from the soda fountain well the water comes out pinkish so I went to TJ the cashier and asked if he would fill my water bottle and as rude as could be said to use the water from soda fountain I told him the problem and asked if he could get it from the faucet behind the counter and then he yells "JESUS CRIEST And stomped off at that point I just said forget it, I wasn't rude I asked nicely and his tone and behavior was completely uncalled for and even if he doesn't like me for some unknown reason his professional customer service skills should be forthcoming first before personal. The guy is a a***ole and this needs to be known.”
“If you need a place to pause and get and go, this is it. Fast pull up. Pop in and grab from clear merchandise on the shelves, coffee, heat-n-go food, and such, quick pay and drive away before the song is finished. But don't go to the bathroom, no, just don't do it. Trust me.”
“I love this store and it's emplyees. It's bigger than an ol fashion corner store but has that homey feel.The unique products are always fun the pet department is astounding even if prices are little higher I would rather spend more here than save a few $ at Walmart. The customer services has always been exceptional”
“The Kenai Safeway employees are a genuine asset to Safeway. Never had a bad exp with any of them and the managers run the store well. The evening manager even went out of his way to go find me in parking lot and get my change to me I had forgot. Thank you kind sir for going above and beyond.”
“Fred Meyers has decided to use a Distributor for their PRODUCE that is providing us with molded, wilted, rotten and disgusting product. Instead of tossing it, they are putting it out on their nearly empty shelves. Very disappointing. I gave them benefit of doubt and kept going back and have found it worse and worse. Fred Meyers must show they respect and value their customers and start putting out quality produce. Safeway does, so it is not impossible. I took pictures of the produce today as it is actually quite unbelievable they would even put such disgusting product out for us. I talked to the Store Management about it.”
“Great one stop shop but the best is Lucki the self check out attendant. She made my kids day with stickers. I watched her walk around and help everyone. Great customer service. Great lady!”

“Been coming to Safeway in Soldotna since they first opened the store in the 1990’s, seen it grow and add more and more products to there store…for retail they do there best to meet customer concerns, availability of products, sales, staff enough people for which ever season it is, to store cleanliness. Last winter there entrances got updated with safer floorings to handle the wetness from snow being tracked in, I love the smaller carts that were added few years back plus the fact of the rider carts seem to always be charged. I appreciate those easy rider carts. Want to say thank you for all you do to meet the customers needs/wants. There hours are nice as well, open as early as 6am and close near midnight most nights.”
“We just moved to Soldotna two weeks ago and have been to this Freddy's many times already to purchase major household items (a couch and chair, kitchenware, etc.) as well as groceries. It is THE BUSY SEASON on the Kenai Peninsula, and the store is always packed! Nevertheless, the store is clean, well-stocked, and well-organized. Special shout-out to the Customer Service personnel who saw us trying out couches and provided information and support that sealed the deal then and there; also to the produce department gal who heard me mention asparagus to my husband and pointed it out (we'd just passed it); and to the super helpful teenaged (?) checkout clerk who helped me scan coupons for additional savings. It's not easy to deal with a barrage of tourists all day every day, and this store and its personable and helpful personnel have made our move to Soldotna efficient and enjoyable. I'm glad it's my new hometown store!”

“Their tempeh is top notch and I highly suggest ordering a side of it no matter what else you get! I also had the spring roll, which was just one big awesome delicious roll. Latte was nice too. What a great place!”
