“East to find. Check in was fast. Our cabin had no tv which was great because we could just talk and play games. Heater works so well we opened the door to cool down the place, basically we shut the heat off. I would recommend this place. Sites, convince to town, and comfortable.”

“Nice gem located in a quiet place. Loved the kitchen with snacks, eggs, coffee and utensils needed to assemble a quick breakfast. Rooms were clean . Staff was amazing , we got locked out of our room by mistake at midnight and they were so courteous to help us out quickly. They also have board games for you to play and have a great time! In September we also saw some glimpses of northern lights from the parking lot. Recommend this place for a comfortable stay.”

“Well it's never to late to write a review from last Aug/ Sept 23.My husband and I had a wonderful stay and were warmly welcomed by Don the owner.He picked us up at the Talkeetna Railway Station and on the day we left he took us to catch the bus back to Anchorage which departed from the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.Nothing was a problem.We stayed 2 nights in cabin no.2 which was at the front of the property.We didn't have any traffic noise at all.The Cabin was very clean cosy and had everything you would need for a short stay.The bed was comfortable and we loved the gas fireplace. It was about an 8 min walk along the road to town.Next door was a great place to eat for all meals.We would definately go back and stay here if ever we were back in Talkeetna ,I highly recommend Denali Fireside Cabins.”

“We stopped here for cinnamon rolls back in July and were not disappointed. Absolutely incredible! The ginger molasses cookies were good too (and from my understanding you really can't go wrong with any of the baked goods) but the cinnamon rolls definitely won out in our opinion. Huge and reasonably priced, too.”

“Have stayed here last two summers with friends from South Carolina. Nice, comfortable, and clean. Staff very nice and friendly. Will stay with them again.Rooms: Nice and comfortable.Nearby activities: Off of the main road in Talkeetna. Therefore traffic noise is not a problem. Close enough to walk to activities if so desired.Food & drinks: Breakfast was delicious and gracious servings.”

“This lodge was one of the stops on our HAL land / sea cruise. It was raining while we were there so we didn't have a chance to walk the grounds but they were well maintained. The room was ok, bed not very comfortable. No air conditioning and because of the rain we couldn't leave the window open. It was warm sleeping and the air was stuffy. As with all the restaurants or coffee shops in Alaska, food was expensive.”

“What can I say it is a beautiful location!The main lodge is warm & fireplace is welcoming. The staff very pleasant & helpful. The coffee shop downstairs was great. Had all the right stuff for granddaughter's favorite coffee concoction! We did not stay in lodge, we were in an group of rooms on property. You have to find building & then rooms. I was not aware of this when first saw booking. I thought it was one big place. There are restaurants on property and were delicious.”
