“This lodge is out of the world the rooms are great & the sites that you can see from the tree house is breath taking , a must to stay at we can't recommend this lodge enough, it's a long walk around this place but they do have shuttle buses running every 15 minutes so no problem there & not forgetting the meal selections are great , can't say enough about the lodge”
“Stayed here for a girls weekend. Lovely very comfortable cabins. Perfect location and atmosphere. We got there very late because of an accident on the highway and they had keys waiting for us. We really hoping to come back!”

“A great place to stay in Talkeetna. The fireplace wasn't working when we stayed there... So not exactly "fireside". But they put an electric heater in our room that eventually warmed it up okay. If you're looking for that romantic feature of the wood stove - maybe call ahead and make sure they've fixed them.
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again.”

“The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an older hotel and some of the rooms are very small but it was manageable for one night. The location is nice as the town in general is very small and quaint. Solid experience overall and would use again if in the area.”

“Lovely lodge. Be aware that there is no air conditioning and on a day over 70 that's really an issue in the guest rooms. Beautiful views from the deck. Hiking trails are maintained. Restaurant serves decent food”
