“Amazing butcher shop. I visit weekly for my regular grocery haul. Special thanks to Connor, Kyle and Apollo for their excellent customer service. Unless I move somewhere significantly farther away, I will not stop going here.”
“First time in today after somehow missing it for years on Kensington Road. Awesome store and super friendly/nice service. Tried some biltong and it is so good. Can’t wait to go back and try the fresh meats (especially the sausages).”
“These guys are always amazing to deal with! They are super friendly and knowledgeable. Quick to respond to you and your questions. High quality meats with a great selection and a fair price. My go-to spot for meat for hosting a fondue!”

“We have been getting meat orders for a number of years. Always great quality and the price is much better than the grocery store as long as we can we will always get our meat from Jimmy.”
“Best place to get raw or marinated meat in Calgary. Their verities are crazy , I have never seen such a busy, fast-moving meat shop even in Surrey, with that many options and fresh good quality meat. It is worth a 30 min drive to get good quality meat.”
“Fantastic butcher shop in Calgary, would highly recommend to anyone. The butchers here are knowledgeable and friendly. They even custom cut for me as I like thick steaks to serve as family style. I enjoyed shopping here during my first time in Calgary, wanted to bring back amazing steaks to cook for dinner. Meat was tender and juicy, with a great marble. I will most definitely come back on my next visit to Calgary. Thanks again Urban Butcher!”

“Since going to Ryan's in Dec 25 I haven't been back to a typical grocery store for meat. With a large selection of Beef/Pork/Chicken plus selections of Bison/Elk/Seafood I find both the taste and quality to be like stepping back in time.
Thanks Ryan's!!
Bought the farm eggs today....wow!”
