About Calgary Pride
Calgary Pride is a not-for-profit organization that exists to promote equality and celebrate Calgary's diversity. Each year, the volunteer-driven organization plans and executes the Calgary Pride Festival, as well as numerous events and programs throughout the year. The 2024 Pride Festival was amazing, with the best location ever and something for everyone, with great attention to detail to meet the needs of a diverse group of people. The Pride Guide was difficult to read, and the Pride website could include unofficial Pride events like the Dyke & Trans March. The festivities were impressive, with everyone involved, from the planners to the attendees, having loads of fun and looking the part. The YMCA song was a tad overplayed during the parade, but overall, it was a great experience. The staff were great and helpful, providing good quality information about LGBTQ.
