“An awesome lake community with plenty of activities to enjoy if you prefer something other than swimming. You will have to enter with a resident of the community as a guest, so make sure that you are aware of that information. Once you're in it's as easy as picking a spot and relaxing for the day! Paddle boards and catamarans available for rent for free, as well as other flotation devices. There is a sand beach with grass areas as well, plenty of space to lay down a towel and enjoy.”

“Very convenient and one hall can be booked for less than $500 but this place needs some serious renovation/restoration. Sometimes they don't mention that if you wish to have Alcohol served at the party it can only be by the person designed by them and the alcohol they provide. Which can add to the cost quite a bit. Good enough room for Gathering of up to 80 people. The kitchen is included in the price and you can bring your own food.”

“When we first came to Rockyview Immigrant Services - RVIS in Airdrie, we were lucky to meet Mayil. Her exceptional dedication was immediately apparent. She's always available, eager to assist and answer questions with a smile and a sense of humor. Mayil is like a supportive friend, turning the overwhelming immigration process into something manageable. Her passion for her work is clear and creates a welcoming atmosphere at RVIS. Being in Airdrie and not having to travel to Calgary, especially when we don't have the means, has been a huge relief. We're incredibly thankful for Mayil; she's significantly brightened our journey.”

“My favorite thrift store. Staff is very friendly and helpful and it's always the same staff so you know they are happy to work here and it makes for a great atmosphere to shop in. The items are well looked over so that nothing broken or damaged is on the shelves. Great sense of community as even other shoppers will talk to you and give you opinions on items you are considering! Keep up the great work! This place just continues to serve the community with great thrifting. Prices are slowly going up.”

“I used to sleep there when I was on the streets, it's a shelter for intoxicated or users of drugs that want to give it a break for a while and have a place to come a sleep it off. They even have a detox upstairs where they feed you three meals a day.”

“Clean, well organized, a little pricey for a thrift store, but you can get a 20% discount coupon if you donate something to Salvation Army. The donation center is nearby, which is very convenient.”

“It's brilliantly chaotic. The space is huge, so it usually doesn't feel crowded even in the clothing aisles. The staff seem on point, and they work hard to keep the place running smoothly. It's important to take your time and scrutinize your purchases. I've accidentally purchased pants with minor tears or sweaters with loose cuffs because I was rushing myself. Slow down, be methodical, and your patience will likely be rewarded with a sweet find.”

“Seniors have 10% off every day. I was there a few times in the past month and everytime I got the discount. Some of the treasures you find are UNBELIEVABLE!!! This place is very well organized, clean & full of surprises!!!”

“A lot of good items specially purses, artwork, lamps, glasses, jars Etc are great. Some of the clothes and jackets are worth exploring as few are actually new. The staff is very helpful and can provide you with a cardboard box if you do not have a bag, for free. But in general Salvation Army needs more donation from people as they are in shortage of good quality stuff in good conditions. Some of the prices need to be lowered so that items can be bought easily, for example plastic tupperware should be very cheap because there's no point in buying it at Salvation Army if similar or even lower prize is available at a store or online.”
