The owner and his son were beyond kind. They were so welcoming, patient and attentive. The owner took the time to answer questions, offer guidance, show me everything I was looking for and have good conversations. He was such a delight to talk to. His son was just as wonderful. He was incredibly polite, helpful and warm. He took his time showing me things as well.

“In passing this store one can see a great example of shopability in the retail space, items are spaced well making it easy to browse and take in what's available.Given a great location and regular traffic after close there's an untapped window browsing opportunity,- Fieldstudy would benefit from highlighting product with in store lighting, and the name on the window being clearly visible.- Where the current blank awning is lit, just adding their name with a simply black on white would change this from looking empty at night to building brand exposure.”

“I've come here a few times on a few separate trips. as of posting, my most recent time here was in late August 2025.
the store has a lot of goods at mostly cheap prices. their dishware is really nice and/or cute, and their affordable matcha-making instruments are a godsend. the cashier I interacted with on my last visit was very nice too.
the only reason why I didn't include one star is because this is the only store location in Alberta! I live in nearby Edmonton, and it's really hard to justify coming over to this location unless I'm vacationing in or around Calgary. I know Oomomo is planning to open a store in YEG again, and I really hope they do for easier access.”
