such a messy store, it’s so overwhelming to shop here. the only time i will ever look around this store is when they have their clearance section, otherwise it’s just a waste of time and money. second hand clothes should not be the same price as buying them new. i saw a pair of very very very worn shoes, dirty, cracking leather, and full of creases but because they had the new balance logo they had them priced at $50! (these shoes looked like they’ve been worn every day for years) ive tried to sell many times here and have been declined because of fluff/lint on the clothes yet i see all this stuff with stains, holes and things that look like they haven’t been in style since 2010. they give you probably a quarter of what they price your item at when you sell to them. don’t waste your time and money here go to a real thrift you’re bound to find if not the same, better products for significantly cheaper! also the staff here always give off the energy that they’re judging everyone honestly.

They used to be a decent second hand shop for clothing. And they used to give generously for the clothing they bought. But now the prices are high, they are over filled with things and the staff is unfriendly. I don't know what happened. But it's no longer any good.

Store is super cute! Read reviews; store is quite messy but it’s because there’s no room on the racks. Otherwise it’s quite good. The staff are friendly but they tend to only acknowledge eachother. All in all, actually quite nice. It’s in a posh area so expect some good finds. The selection is very good with each size stocked up XS-4XL✨

Laughing at how low the ratings are. After a wardrobe purge, this was the perfect place to drop off my stuff. They accepted a variety of high end & fast fashion clothes. I left with a generous handful of cash, any items they didn't accept will be donated.. it's not that deep.?Tip: Go in with a 'better than nothing' mindset. Sure, you might make more money from other consignment retailers but for getting rid of a large volume of clothes, Plato's is by far the most convenient and you receive cash the day of.The volume of negative ratings is unreasonable... At the end of the day, y'all are selling **USED** clothing & accessories. Be grateful if you get anything for it at all. Unless you are getting rid of Dior, Prada, etc. you are likely overestimating the value of your items. All the young girls who served me were very cute and sweet.

This is not a thrift store, this is a business pretending to be a thrift store. who are offering to buy used clothes for pennies and selling them back on a huge mark up , you're better off giving your clothes to the local crackhead then to this store or pack it and ship it to an NGO in Africa who'd appreciate it more.

You‘re better off donating your clothes to a not for profit thrift store. Plato’s closet purchases clothing for laughably low prices and sells them for a huge profit, and they get away with it because they offer the convenience of “buying” your clothes from you on the spot. This is a predatory business model, taking advantage of both sellers and buyers. It’s a terrible place to shop, they mainly carry poor quality, fast fashion brands (Shien shirts for $15) The employees don’t seem to understand what makes a quality garment and it leaves the impression that the entire operation is a thinly veiled cash grab. Just sell your old clothes on Facebook marketplace or open an account at your local consignment store.

Rude staff member who checked me out, looked me up and down like she was checking to see if I was stealing. I had just come out of the dressing room and was putting my coat back on. After that barely looked up at me, and became very cold. When I was done I looked at her and said thank you, and all she did was look down and said yep...do better as a person and at your job. Won't come to this location again. Plus they have so much stock in xs and s, but virtually no LG or xl! Better locations to go to.

lmao, my friend went to sell clothes. She had swarovski necklace (orig 200+) and MK bag(orig $400+) almost brand new looking and few other things. they paid her $128 for 27 items including the bag and the necklace. When my friend left and when she checked the receipt they bought 27 items for just $128(so 4.7 each? Bruh) and apparently she cant get them back anymore.

The racks are packed so tight, there is quite literally NO ROOM to slide the hangers to browse through items. When I got to the jeans, they were packed so tight that they just fall off the hangers, there was a pile of jeans on the floor from this - get a better inventory system or a bigger space. Absolute garbage.

came here for the first time and it is kind of a joke taking clothes here to sell. basically bought my items for $4 a piece, most of which were brand new. that’s on me though i definitely could’ve sold them for more elsewhere. though, when i got my other items back, there were clothes that did not belong to me. i returned them to the girls, they looked a bit shocked and said stuff got mixed up and sent me away. then i get a call a few minutes late saying they found another one of my rejected items, i go back to pick it up and ask to look through my accepted items to make sure nothing else was missing. the girl was kind enough to agree but then didn’t let me take anything out of the box because the clothes had to “stay as they are”? not sure how i’m supposed to see my 25 items when they are packed tightly into a bin but sure. i looked as best as i could as she tilted the bin at me but couldn’t exactly confirm if anything was missing because i couldn’t see half of it. its not worth it to sell clothes here if you’re looking to get paid what they are worth, but hey maybe they will accidentally give you someone else’s rejected clothing because they can’t keep track of it ! the staff were friendly though so i will give them that.

Shaye, the staff today who took in items to buy from customers is the most rude staff at this location and very incompetent. And, after rummaging through the items I brought in season only picked two of the oldest items there is in there. It is laughable. Shaye didn’t even bother to fold the clothes like the way I brought them in. She treated it like she throws her trash. I was in line and same thing with the two ladies infront of me, they had good items they were selling but their items got turned away and put back into the bags they came with like trash. I donated the stuff at Goodwill. Don’t waste your time at this location. Even the items they sell are priced as if they’re brand new. I would rather go to CrossIron or Market Mall where you could find clothings on sale as cheap as $3 a piece.

Dropped a box off at this location today. Was unable to pick up so I called to see if my husband could for me. I was told because he doesn’t have the same last name he would not be able to. I told them I could provide his full name and address which they could confirm with my address on file. I was told they don’t have my address on file so they couldn’t confirm we live at the same location. I was also told if I don’t pick up my box of clothes today it would be donated and I wouldn’t get the money for the clothes they purchased.

This store is easily the best location for all Plato’s closets. The selection is great and I can say without a doubt that my whole closet is from Plato’s closet. The prices are really well set and the quality of the clothes are even better. This is the only place I actually buy clothes:)

first time here and lots of cute curated clothes! store is organized by size and colour, makes it fun to look through! the only thing is the aisles are very small, only enough for one person at a time to walk through. so if i’m trying to get to the other side, i had to go the long way around

2 stars because the staff were decently friendly. The whole experience is a waste of time. My friend and I brought in boxes of brand name clothes and hardly anything was “to their standard”The racks are full of old, pilled, stretched out clothes so it just doesn’t make sense. Also 5 of my items came from Plato’s not even a month ago ?Better off just selling on market place!
