Safeway Beltline is a chain supermarket close to the house with a great location. It offers a good selection of the usual Safeway product assortment, essential goods, and delicious pastries. The shop is clean and always has what is needed. There is a zone for warm food to take away or eat on the spot, though the Chinese food in the hot food buffet area is rarely there anymore. There is a Starbucks on the premises, which is very convenient. The parking situation receives mixed reviews, with notes of plenty of parking available but also that it always feels unsafe. A significant downside is the checkout, as it is all self-checkout and not an effective system, with never enough pay points open. Prices are different, but there are often great promotions.
