I came to the TELUS store on October 26, 2024, at 16061 Macleod Trail SE Unit 323 just to get information and find out the waiting time for the installation of the equipment in case if I decide to use TELUS services. I was served by Kazi Musaed and he deceived me - instead of providing information, he activated me services that I did not ask for and instead of information about the possible date of installation, he scheduled a real meeting with technicians. He promised that he would activate my account only if I will ask about it, but I started receiving notifications that TELUS would soon send me the equipment, I called to the store and asked Kazi Musaed to cancel everything, but he said that he was not in the store, I arrived 10 minutes later to the store, and he was there. He said that he canceled everything, but I decided to check trough internet, and found that Kazi Musaed it turned out appointment for technicians but activated me Optical TV, a service that I never ever asked for.

We had a Telus representative come to our door last summer. He convinced us to switch from Shaw to Telus. At the time, Shaw choose to sell to Rogers, which was something we did not want, as we left Rogers due to poor service. He sold us with Mobile, Internet and TV at one rate. I had a phone which I moved over to telus at the time and finally I had to switch to another phone. This phone did not like accepting incoming calls, in fact I would say I actually received 5% of all incoming calls. I am currently unemployed and looking for work, I've sent out hundreds of resumes and not one company has called me or been able to get through to me since I got this phone. I called Apple, who went through the phone and found it to be operating as it should on their end, they recommended that I have the SIM card looked at. So today I went to the store and the kid went directly to the SIM card, he took it out and installed what he called a Electronic SIM and explained that the SIM was confusing the phones into accepting calls when they came in. He informed me that from other phones coming in with similar issues, this should be the fix. So Telus gave me faulty equipment and were the reason why I was not getting the calls, the knew of the situation and did not inform their customers. So I called Customer Service today to get a credit for poor service as I was not getting important calls. This is where the snobbery came in, and why I lost my cool. The lady from customer loyalty who took the call after 58 min on hold, she said that because I did get some calls through, they would not do anything to correct the issue, even when I explained it was their sim card. I asked why my bill has gone up since we signed on, she notified me that I had two raises of my bill of $5.00 for better service. When I asked her how can she justify that I was not getting all the calls or better than 5%, why was I charged for better service that I did not get, again her reply is they were not going to do anything for me. So I said, being as you have not kept your end of the contract, providing me with "Good" service, you have not kept your end of the contract up, so please cancel my contract as I kept my end up, you didn't supply me with predictable service nor good service, and the lack of good service cost me work. This is the hitch, they can drop their pants and provide horrible service and treat you like a nuisance, so when it is time to cancel the contract, they still have the gonads to charge you a cancellation fee. So now, to minimize how much of our money they get, we are cutting back our services to avoid paying them anymore of our hard earned money. Needless to say, the moment I am out of this contract, I will be leaving Telus, never to return. Their customer service is not at all what it was like back even ten years ago. You called with an issue, they did their best, within reason to correct the problem. Now you talk to someone across the planet who does not care in the least, talks over you the entire time and treats you poorly. Needless to say, I ended the call not so friendly, I was not my best, but I am so tired of these companies treating you like a tool. Even after several calls to them to fix the issue over the months, only to have their return calls not go through as my phone was not accepting calls, they don't see how it is their fault. IF I were you, I would never do any business with Telus, ever!

Had the pleasure of upgrading my phone at the shawnessy location. My attendant Connor was very patient and handled all my questions professionally. Nice location with great and amazing staff. Would definitely recommend!!!

The customer experience was Excellent. Conner was very amiable and knowledgeable. I was switching from one platform to another and his experience was invaluable. He set our phones up and helped with Follow-Up questions. He was very supportive and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Worst customer service ever. We stood outside for a good ten minutes before the guy got off the seat to come and get us. We walked in and were asking about moving my boyfriends phone to my plan and he said he couldn’t do anything (personally think he just was lazy) while we were looking around at the phones a customer who he must have dealt with came in and explained to him that the new phone she bought wasn’t working and he stated it would take an hour and she wasn’t told that. At that point we left and went to another telus who we have had good service with before.

Kazi was amazing! I am a techo peasant on pension . He helped me immensely in fettin a new phone for us, with the best price, and, comparable to what we had. (OLD phone broke.)
I give him the best rating possible as he explained everything to this elderly techno peasant and in a dumbed down language that I understand. He truly was exceptionally helpful to me.

Worst service ever at this place, don't waste your time at this place, only one guy is really working there and will help you (Gareth or Gary can't remember exactly his name, another guy's don't even know how they are still having a job, ignorant, rude and useless, what they can do only it's to write a phone number from customer service on the piece of paper and even that number will be with the mistake ... if I am not wrong Stephen was the name of that guy, he was watching movie on his phone when someone had to stay outside in the rain ringing on that entrance door to get inside. Stephen if you don't want to work on some social services or customer service... don't do it man ... go and find another job !!! Telus you should be more careful who you are hiring as a representative for customer service !!!
