“We had so much fun doing the Dark Order! This place is a must-go if you're into Harry Potter or escape rooms! It is very fun and challenging for young brainsters!”

“Our first ever Candlelight by Fever experience and by far the best so far! The Quartet was phenomenal and played Kris Bower’s originals and several other hit covers from the Netflix’s series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“My daughter attended a few weeks of the summer camp program this year and she had a fantastic time. She loved the 'big kid' crafts she made and gained so much confidence in her abilities and creativity. I also appreciate that each week had a different theme and crafts so I was able to sign her up for a few different weeks without having repeat activities. One of our top camps we've attended.”

“My family and I usually go to the studio to paint and enjoy a few drinks. For the first time we ordered 5 paint kits and did them at home last night. The kits they put together literally have everything in them you’ll need other than the easel. I was incredibly impressed that for the price they supply literally everything. Even paper to put down on your table to protect it. We had an absolutely wonderful time! It’s nice to go to the studio as an evening out but I can’t say enough about how much fun we had staying home this time and painting and sipping at home. Will do it again for sure!!!!”

“I guess the old saying is true, "You can't judge a book by its cover!"
The exterior of this building betrays the absolutely gorgeous space inside, upstairs.
The Bitcoin market chose this place for their event as it is quite central and easy to get to. The open space is well lit and spacious.
The stairs to get up to the 2nd floor are a little steep and only for able bodied people. I don't recall seeing an elevator.
There is quite a bit of parking around and if the event you are throwing is on a Sunday then the street parking is all free.
Grab some Dimsum a few doors down at the Silver Dragon and then come here.”

“We hired Oliver & Bonacini Catering for an event in mid-August for 70 people, and the food was great. We did a mix of chef-stations with passed canapés, and the team really did a great job. Leading up to the event, Oliver & Bonacini Catering, did a great job in answering all our questions, and held a tasting for the food which was nice. They were able to cater to all our guests, including those with dietary restrictions and allergies (incl. vegetarian, vegan, dairy-allergy, nut allergies etc.). We would definitely use O&B again.”

“It was a real pleasure to provide videography, audio, and post-production technology here for a music and comedy event for Calgary's Nigerian community! Plenty of great electrical circuits in the main hall, stage with pre-installed lighting, nicely finished hardwood floors, and rooms to store cases. WIFI is also decent (see speed test in photos). Given the facility is built on a hill and is therefore configured as a walk-out basement on the front, the only ground-level load-in option is through the kitchen in the back. Otherwise, it's up all the stairs in the front (see photos). Our tech worked super well there though (see photos). Would be happy to come back!”

“The food doesn't align with the same caliber of the hotel. Everything about the hotel was great just that the food quality could be improved.

Rooms: Very clean and comfortable

Nearby activities: Very close the the Calgary International Airport and offers free shuttle 24 hours a day.”

“I attend events at the Palace almost every month and want to share my appreciation for the security team. In my personal opinion they are hands down one of the best security teams in the city. They pay attention and respond quickly and efficiently to all issues that arise making it a safe and fun environment for everyone.”

“Very convenient and one hall can be booked for less than $500 but this place needs some serious renovation/restoration. Sometimes they don't mention that if you wish to have Alcohol served at the party it can only be by the person designed by them and the alcohol they provide. Which can add to the cost quite a bit. Good enough room for Gathering of up to 80 people. The kitchen is included in the price and you can bring your own food.”

“Had an absolutely great time. Will most definitely be back. The ice was smooth, the rooms clean and the staff was excellent, the girl driver with curly hair really went beyond to make sure the experience was as great as it was.”

“The show we went to see (Calgary Phil Star Wars showing) was amazing and the conductor was both charismatic and a joy to watch. I found myself watching him and his screen and the musicians more then the movie. It was a lovely evening and we already booked tickets for next year.

The opportunities provided to engage with Star Wars characters, the friendless and helpful nature of the symphony associates was above and beyond.

That said, the auditorium while beautiful with excellent acoustics for this type of event, really left a lot to be desired in terms of comfort. Our seats in left centre were absolutely fine in terms of location and view and listening experience but plan on getting exceptionally cozy with the stranger seated next to you.

Aisle seating does provide limited relief particularly for tall individuals or those with broad shoulders but the seats to be Blunt are really too narrow and the armrests compound this problem further. Do not expect to be comfortable and don’t be surprised when you have odd aches and pains later. I found this facet for such a fine performance environment to be pretty unacceptable. For example the couple in front of us, the poor gentlemen was half absorbing his dates seat and even though she was of extremely diminutive stature it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable appearing.

My 6’3” husband thankfully was able to
Shift seats due to a no show but otherwise short of ripping his legs and arms off would have had a far different experience.

Every new arrival around us commented on the seats and how small they were as people crowded into their neighbours space lol.

I know we will not return in the future unless we can get aisle seating so at least one person in our party can be marginally comfortable.”

“A very interesting and carefully curated collection of historical facts and recollections regarding the development of Calgary. We were there about an hour and could have stayed longer but had to leave so will return on our next visit.

I would have liked to have heard more about the indigenous population at the time and their involvement/lack of/impact on their culture but obviously there were more artefacts relating to the colonisers that made up a large part of the exhibit. There was a wheel of images that was very interesting capturing not just the western people but also some indigenous population which told such a story and was an important part of their collection. Each one was lit up as you moved round the wheel and described the scene. One other exhibit was 20 suggestions to take action to find out more about the indigenous population today, such as learning the indigenous name of Calgary (see photo). I liked that active part of the exhibit.

Definitely worth taking a look and finding out about the development of the city, it is beautiful and feels like a special place, with such natural beauty and a long history.”

“This is written from the perspective of someone who had a booth at an event hosted here:

We had our STR Rodeo Boutique fashion booth at the RAW art show hosted at the back alley. Nice spacious venue with several bar tops, the stage was large enough for us to use as a comfortable make-shift runway.

The staff, was amazing! Basically all our women dropped out last minute on us and we were trying to find some hours before the show.

The absolutely gorgeous women that work there stepped up and tossed on our pieces, AND ROCKED IT! It took some big ass lady balls to get up there and do that with no warning, cannot thank them enough.

Our one delightful bartender, don't forget, next time we come through, you're gonna have an outfit made just for you to get up and strut in! ? we're holding you to it!! ?❤️”
