Global Pet Foods
320 1 St W, CochraneGlobal Pet Foods Cochrane is always a great experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about their customers (both two-legged and four-legged!). The service is consistently excellent, and one of our favorite parts of stopping in is getting to see Pickles the Schnoodle — it absolutely makes our day every time we come in. Such a warm, happy place. Highly recommend!

Pet Valu
The Quarry, 55 Bow St Cmn #105, CochraneThe staff at Cochrane PetValu are absolutely wonderful! They not only adore my pup, Miss Moo, but are always so kind and helpful. Whether I need advice on raw food brands, help finding the most durable toy, using their newly renovated bathing station, or picking out the cutest shirts, they’re always a pleasure to deal with. It’s most definitely our favorite place to shop! ?❤️

Pet Sitting & Training

Dogfather's Pawsitive Times Pet Services Ltd.
120 Fisher Ave, CochraneDespite being a water dog, my dog can be a bit difficult around bath time and her first experience at a groomer in Calgary wasn't great to the point the groomer declined my service for her coming back for a second time. For her second experience, I brought her to Dogfather's and they got to know my dog, worked with her quirks, and knocked it out of the park! I couldn't recommend them more!!

Half Hitch Brewing Company
10 Griffin Industrial Point #1, CochraneThe premise of a prairie brewery eatery tucked away in the industrial corner of a mining town is great! But everything comes off a bit half finished. The menu is creative, but execution is mainstream. Our group had a burger, salad, poutine, and chicken, and it all was OK. The standout is the sausages, highly recommend. Beer selection is small but quite good. The furnishings are fittingly rustic, but sparsely augmented by accoutrements. We were seated downstairs and these we a private event upstairs, maybe that's why our service was a bit slow? But the personnel is very accommodating and attentive, gold star.

Cochrane & Area Humane Society
62 Griffin Industrial Point, CochraneWe walked in to adopt a cat back in September and the whole experience was amazing. We were shown a bunch of really wonderful cats and were given lots of time to think about which one we wanted to adopt.
We adopted a cat named Coleslaw (renamed him Chooch) and he is the best cat ever.
He is so sweet and cuddly. The adoption specialist also warned us that he loves cheese and she wasn’t wrong. He will find any cheese (or dairy) in the house and try to eat it all.
Thank you for the wonderful experience and for the amazing cat.
