“Usually have things that other stores don't. But also alot of the time they sell out or don't have stock for alot of other items.
Lock up your bike around here. Security on site for your safety.
No public bathroom.”
“Had to flick the lights on and off to get the casheir to show up, but they had everything I went in there for, so I can't complain. Chocolate bars are cheaper than literally anywhere else, but a lot of odds and ends are the same or more than elsewhere, despite being chinese crap so buyer beware.”
“I had a wonderful experience at Dollar Tree! I want to recognize Maria for her exceptional customer service. She was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure I found everything I needed. She was patient, professional, and treated every customer with kindness and respect. It’s clear she genuinely cares about providing a great shopping experience. Employees like Maria make a big difference, and I truly appreciate her hard work. Thank you, Maria, for the outstanding service—I’ll definitely be back!”
“There was a branch in Rabbit Hill. The shelves in this store were quite organized. The presentation was better than in the other branches we visited, and the artificial flowers section was very attractive.
The shelves here are also quite neat, and there seem to be more styles of artificial flowers than in the branches I visited before. The staff displays the items in an aesthetically pleasing way.”
“We visited the branch in Chapelle.
I found some lovely items there, as well as these beautiful picture frames.
This time I came to the branch in Chapelle and found some beautiful photo frames and furnishings.”
“Staff are very nice. Sadly this location did not have any chocolate bars anymore, not one today anyway.
I'm also seeing the Dr. Otker mousse the past two visits. Othetwise the location is fine.”
“The staff here are always knowledgeable and friendly, which makes shopping inside a good experience.
That said, I wanted to leave a friendly note about the outside cleanliness. On my last visit, the entrance area wasn’t very welcoming — there was a strong odor of urine and even someone trimming their nails right by the doors. I didn’t even want to stop and take pictures because I was in a rush and just wanted to leave after my purchase.
We all take pride as Canadians in wanting clean and welcoming streets, and I believe this store could reflect that better. Other Dollarama locations I’ve visited are kept much cleaner, so it might be worth hiring a service to spray down the entrance regularly. I think this would make a big difference and keep this store on par with the excellent service already happening inside.”
“Convenient location. The store feels cramped, almost too much stuff that isn't put away properly. It would be nice to see one or two self check outs. Staff is friendly and do everything they can but it would be nice to see more people hired, one cashier on a Saturday afternoon isn't optimal.”
“I love shopping here, but I have an issue getting in and out of the store when shopping with my stroller. It need buttons for automatic doors so that people do not have to fight with the doors as they going in or out. I know other location that have them.”
“I shop here often, they have new items coming in all the time. I like the cleanliness of the store. The store is organized and the staff are friendly and helpful.”

“I had a great experience today. The security guard was very kind and courteous. He opened the door for me, and when I thanked him, he smiled and said, “You’re welcome.” It’s always nice to be greeted with such kindness and respect. Small gestures like this make a big difference and are greatly appreciated!”
“It was a busy day at Dollarama today! Happy to say they had sufficient stuff, and they cruised through the lines pretty quickly, and I found everything I needed… no problem! Classic Dollarama.”
“They are always up to date for their seasonal items. I enjoy shopping here . As they always have wide collection for seasonal items. Which is worth to buy because majority of them are one time use .”
“Well stocked, friendly sales floor team, lots of security so I would imagine the have a big shrink opportunity to address being central along with the behavioral people issues that come with all that in store. I felt safe shopping and was able to find what I needed and efficiently self scan my goods and leave the store without issue. Thanks.”
“A very practical north-side stop with a strong card section, accessible layout, and a surprisingly useful range of home organization and everyday utility items at genuinely good prices.
For a fuller picture —
Dollarama 137 Ave, Edmonton, North Side offers the kind of value-focused shopping experience that is easy to appreciate. This location stands out not only for budget-friendly basics, but also for having a very worthwhile card section and a solid selection of home organization and utility items that can help with everyday life without pushing the cost too high.
What makes a store like this especially useful is when it feels easy to shop, and this one does. The layout felt accessible overall, making it easier to move through the aisles and browse without unnecessary hassle. That matters, especially in a store where people often come in for a quick errand but end up finding a few extra useful things along the way.
The card section is a real plus here. It adds to the store’s convenience for birthdays, celebrations, and last-minute occasions, while the home organization and utility offerings help make this more than just a quick snack-and-basics stop. For affordable household helpers, simple organizing solutions, and practical everyday finds, this is a genuinely handy 137 Ave location to have nearby.

- Great card section

- Good home organization and utility options
- Strong everyday value at affordable prices
Parking / access:

Kid-friendly:

“Well stocked, well lit store, with everything you'd expect to find at a Dollarama. I found the kitchen gadgets isle to have good sturdy products with loads of diversity to choose from. The gardening isle is always a fun isle to get your garden/yard ready for spring. I find that the rope dog leashes they sell are amazing leads, at a fraction of the cost of what you'd pay buying something comparable at a pet shop. I love the items they have for house plants, I find a houseplant pot I want every time I'm there.Just keep in mind that while there are standard products that you'd expect to find at a Dollarama, sometimes they have unique items that maybe won't be available for too long. So you want that super cute squirrel lawn ornament? I'd buy it then instead of risking it not being there upon your return. The only other thing I'd suggest is to make sure you check that the product you choose, especially if grabbing multiples, have all the parts needed and that things like lids work. I have sometimes (ok many times) been in a rush and haven't noticed something doesn't quite fit or work right until I get home, which leaves you down the item and, if you're like me and you're not going to go back to get another 4.00 item because it's not worth the fuss/gas, then you also need to dispose of or repurpose/recycle.This store's staff was pleasant and helpful, and while I was there only the self serve check outs were available.”
“Amazing selection! Love this dollar tree, very helpful staff. If ur wanting to go definitely go on sundays, I believe they restock Sunday cuz every time I go on Sundays it’s very tidy, clean. And restocked of most!
Defo recommend”
“I think this building use to be a Rexall. Since then it has become a Dollarama. The store is very clean, spacious, and had lots of products displayed. I will definitely make this my number one store location.”
“Just when I was there a homeless lady had stolen something and took off. Poor cashier tried to stop her, but, did not succeed. No security in the middle of the day. Other than that tge store looks good, clean and organized.”

“Dollarama in West Edmonton Mall consistently offers an impressive selection. Whenever I see items featured on Instagram from Dollarama, they are always available. Moreover, the associates are always friendly and efficient with quick checkouts. I would like to extend a special acknowledgement to Rebecca for her warm greetings, which undoubtedly make customers feel welcome.”
“Dollarama is not really “Dollarama” anymore — I’d call it Tennerama, because you can’t really walk in and find much for a dollar anymore. :)”
“My go to connivence store! It has literally everything you can think of ranging from cleaning supplies to chicken fingers. The guy who works there is very nice and considerate and always trying to brighten up peoples days!”
“Always a pleasant experience, though it would be nice if they had more Christmas decorations in stock. That's just me though. If I get the chance I buy in BULK. Staff is always friendly and always ready to answer questions.”
“My experience here is nice I lived in this area for 14 years since I was born and I find this dollarama amazing the staff isn’t mean to me or racist they help me when I need it.”
“Good store, lots of choices of items and more isles in a dollarama then most, the security guard is really nice and so are the staff. Good atmosphere if u want great store! Only thing is the value village in the parking lot shut down s little while ago which su c k s bright as lot more customers”
“Shout out to the staff member who was working alone at the cash registers yesterday, Saturday May 23rd around 4:30 p.m. It was extremely busy with a long line, yet she handled everything amazingly. She managed and used three cash tills efficiently and kept things moving smoothly the entire time. Truly impressive work—she absolutely rocked it!”
“Excellent shopping experience yesterday although what I needed was something I found myself after browsing all the aisles as the staff working on shelving said they were not available - I am glad I persevered as the check out staff was efficient and kind in packing my various items meticulously in several bags - friendly and kind whom I do not forget and will greet her in future visits..pics to post in due course but I want to give a shout out for the staff who took care of me during my massive shopping experience at Dollarama in Londonderry mall for the first time as I shop more locally at Unity Square or Edmonton City Centre #YEG”
“I often shop here, as the prices are better than Walmart and Michaels's for crafty things. Though the quality may not be of the best on certain items, like the plastic containers I buy. I see no difference in how they last.”
“This Dollarama location is quite spacious with a noticeably larger selection compared to what I’m used to at the Brooks location on Whyte Ave. The kitchen and kids sections in particular had a lot more variety, which was a pleasant surprise.
Overall, it’s a decent store—clean, well-stocked, and great for finding affordable everyday items. The only downside is that it’s not the most accessible if you’re on foot or using transit, so it’s definitely more convenient if you have access to a car. Still, worth checking out for the selection and space.”
“Just went to the store like 30 mins ago , the cashier lady was so nice she was wearing a mask , she helped me pack my stuff in my own bag and the store was very clean and organized.”
