“Good business, disappointing experience with sales associate...
4 stars because:
- I had emailed them with questions about an online vintage jewelry purchase (from a different store) that arrived damaged and the person who responded was phenomenal.
- The goldsmith's work was excellent.
- The conversations my husband and I overheard other salespeople having seemed excellent.
- I have 2 friends who have custom engagement rings from here and they are lovely.
The salesperson that I received was not excellent. I found and bought my dream vintage engagement ring from an online Canadian shop, but it was a little too small. I didn't want sizing done by a shop in another city, I wanted it to be assessed and done by a good quality shop, not a generic mall jeweler... and due to my previous experience and the things I've heard, I figured that this place would be the best. As it's a vintage ring and not great to size rings a bunch of times, I wanted the sizing done right the first time...
The associate that helped me seemed transactional and disinterested. When I said I needed sizing and showed her the ring, the first thing she said was, "are those real diamonds?" I thought hmm, but responded with, "yeah I hope so... please tell me if they're not?!" (I know I don't look fancy but, like thanks?)...but honestly that was no issue, I don't have to like the person's personality if they do a good job...I have fingers with a bigger knuckle, so it's more important for a ring to be tight enough on my knuckle so it doesn't fall off. I brought a ring that fits perfectly for the salesperson to measure on their mandrel so they could get sizing right. The salesperson insisted that my ring should be sized bigger than the other ring as it was slightly wider, I was like umm that's bigger than the ring I brought in, but then thought ok, she's supposed to be the expert, so said alright can you do on the tight side of that then? She almost wrote the wrong size on the tag, I was watching so caught it...
Bad gut feeling...put it down to the salesperson's demeanor.
I come back to pick up my ring. The salesperson that had helped me with the sizing was sitting at her desk but ignored me. I guess she was busy. A different salesperson got up to help me, she was super nice but unfortunately the ring was a tad too big and she could tell that I was disappointed.
Kicker is that: I chose to get the sizing done here for $158+tax instead of through the online shop which charges $60 or through another jeweler who quoted $100... because it's my engagement ring so I wanted everything done just right regardless of the cost. Maybe it's my fault for not going with my gut feeling and avoiding this salesperson as she seemed not so great, but I don't want to judge skill based on first impression or personality and it's very awkward to ask for a different person to help you, and I would hope that everyone would do the same good job at a high end shop regardless of demeanor.
They offered to fix the sizing for free, but as it's a vintage ring, I don't want it sized multiple times so I will put a ring guard on it.
I would still recommend this shop... but I would not recommend the person who helped me. You go to a higher end shop and pay more when you want high quality service.”

Paris Jewellers’s pricing was far less expensive than other jewellers out there and the finished rings looked brand new when I got them back. I didn’t have to wait long either. I had my engagement ring custom made and Mason was phenomenal at guiding me to make my vision come to life. He provided 3D models and even sourced out a different diamond for me after I second guessed the sizing of the first one we had chosen.
The customer service is top notch and they are always so quick to reply. Extremely accommodating and are even resizing my ring to ensure a perfect fit.
I cannot say enough good things and my fiancé and I cannot wait to get our bands custom made here as well!

I bought a diamond wedding band from here for my wedding last July I paid close to $1,000.00 for this ring. at the 6 month mark a diamond had already fallen out. I take my ring off when cleaning, exercising etc.. I basically only wear it at the office or going out for dinner I am very careful with it. I tried to contact the store to see if this was covered under the standard warranty since it had only been 6 months. Their response was for me to send photos of the spot where the diamond fell out, I sent the photos and have NOT received a response back in over 3 months. I also sent my husband into the store to ask if this was covered under the standard warranty he was told no and that we would have to pay $200 to fix this.
Overall, poor craftsmanship, no accountability, and lack of customer service.
Would not purchase from here again.”

“The best there is. Mark Katzeff helped me design my engagement ring with a stone I was gifted. The whole process was so painless and interesting, we went from hand sketches, to 3D renderings, to the ring being in my hand within a couple of weeks. He was patient, professional, and extremely detail-oriented throughout the whole process. He executed everything down to a T, and suggested ideas that I hadn’t even thought of.
