McBain Camera's new flagship location in Mayfield Square, Edmonton, is a modern and inviting space for photographers and camera enthusiasts. This bright store offers a comfortable shopping experience, a classroom/studio area, and a video editing space, along with easy access to photo equipment rentals and ample parking. Customers appreciate the knowledgeable and friendly staff, who provide excellent service and helpful advice. Many have had positive experiences, like finding better products at lower prices thanks to attentive salespeople. However, some customers wish for more competitive pricing on film and the return of 120mm developing services. The location also hosts events, such as presentations from renowned photographers, making it a vibrant hub for the local photographic community.
I had a great experience buying online from McBain. I ordered the wrong size camera bag by mistake. Max responded very quickly to my e-mail reporting this and he was very friendly and helpful in arranging for me to exchange it for the right bag. I'll buy here again.
