I recently visited NAV to buy a TV and sound system for my new home, i had the pleasure of dealing with Marko and I really cant say enough good things about the experience, but ill do my best. Marko didnt try and upsell me or try and get me to buy things i didnt want or need, i simply told him my budget and what I was after. He helped me understand the differences between certain brands and why Sony, for example is better than Hisense. Hassle free he helped me pick out a TV, sound bar and speakers. I really hope everyone gets a chance to visit NAV and have the pleasure of dealing with their Professional staff, will recommend them to everyone I know. Hard to come across decent people nowadays, so if youre in the market, forget about the others and dont waste your time, head down to NAV if you value your time, money and patience. “I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Amanda and Emmit at Vistek.
I accidentally dropped my camera while preparing for a very important shoot, which shattered my lens filter and left it completely stuck on the lens. I was concerned because I wasn’t sure whether the lens itself had been damaged and I had to sit with that uncertainty overnight.
The next morning, I called Vistek and spoke with Amanda. From the very beginning, she was incredibly compassionate, caring and enthusiastic about helping me. She immediately reassured me to bring the camera in so they could take a look.
When I arrived, Amanda tried her best to remove the filter but unfortunately wasn’t able to get it off. Then, by what felt like perfect timing, Emmit happened to be there. He had originally been waiting for another customer who was supposed to drop off a lens, but when that customer didn’t show up, he was available to help.
Emmit was able to carefully work through the damaged filter, crack and remove the glass, finesse the mechanism and ultimately get the filter off my lens! I was honestly so grateful and relieved.
What could have been a very stressful and potentially costly situation turned into an experience where I felt genuinely cared for and supported.
Amanda and Emmit didn’t just help me solve the immediate problem… they also helped me find a solution for protecting my camera going forward by getting me set up with a new filter.
Thank you both so much for your kindness, patience, expertise and willingness to help. Your compassion during a stressful moment meant more to me than you probably realize. I’m incredibly grateful that I walked into Vistek that afternoon and had the opportunity to meet you both.

It had been months since I decided I wanted to buy a new phone, but I was extremely indecisive about which one to get. I actually went to Best Buy Southgate to purchase a new laptop, not a phone!

“I can’t say enough good things about The Gramophone.
A couple months ago, they helped me fix my Urban Outfitters 2016 record player when I couldn’t find a replacement needle anywhere. As a total vinyl newbie with an UO record player, I walked in feeling a bit embarrassed, but they were nothing but kind, welcoming, and completely judgment-free. They took the time to help me, treated my setup with respect, and made the whole experience genuinely positive. They even made sure to test the wiring and helped explain how to troubleshoot some other record player issues I was having (again, a newbie…)
Recently, I returned for a very different reason. I’m a teacher, and I wanted my Grade 9 art students to paint on old records for a project. The Gramophone was the very first place I thought of, and they absolutely went above and beyond. They were incredibly generous and helped me get a great collection of 45s for my students to work with.
Their kindness honestly made my day, and because of them, two semesters of Grade 9 students will get to experience a truly cool, creative project. That kind of community support means everything.
