“Gene is your man for it all ! Him and his staff are super knowledgeable and give great advice. Like the name says , they got lots of plants for your aquarium ! So many different varieties! But it doesn’t stop there ! From rare breeds , normal fish and specialties to crustations , shrimps , snails and aquatic frogs !Can’t ever recommend them enough ( also - they have KILLIFISH which no one like ever has any. They are awesome. )”

I embarked on a quest for the perfect pet sweater, and lo and behold, I stumbled upon a treasure trove of sweaters and jackets in sizes that would make even the tiniest of furballs strut their stuff! The customer service was so out-of-this-world amazing that I half-expected them to offer a red carpet for my pet. They truly care about your furry friends. 100% recommended – I'd give them 11 out of 10 if I could!”

“Went a couple weekends ago after a not so pleasant experience at the aquarium central a few blocks away. I was after freshwater fish for a new tank. As soon as we walked in we noticed the staff were happy and laughing with eachother and other customers- a stark contrast from the staff at aquarium central. Selection wasn’t huge for freshwater. But it was enough that I found some fish and plants that fit in great with my setup, the pea puffer I got is my new fav in my tank.More importantly my wife and I were amazed by their saltwater selection and how healthy and vibrant their displays were. Guy with the tats (didn’t catch his name) helped us out and answered all the questions I had about the saltwater tanks. Very helpful and knowledgeable.I’m planning on getting a saltwater tank once I get the hang of the freshwater one, and will certainly be coming back here! Bonus points for having stuff for dogs as well!”

“This is my favourite bird store. I drive 50 minutes one way to come to this store. They carry the freshest bird food, native plant seeds, collector mugs, portal protectors for bird houses, bird feeders, bird baths and so much more.The staff is very knowledgeable, and will help you carry bulky/heavy bags to your vehicle.I am loving all the different species of birds that come to my yard.I also love that if you’re a first time customer and sign up for their membership, you get free stuff plus discounts.”
“I have to say every time I go here the staff is so helpful and I come away very happy with their suggestions. I got boots for my dog that finally didn’t come off, good bones he likes and doesn’t devour in a day and also a brush he finally likes and doesn’t try to eat my hand constantly while I’m brushing him. “We’ve been searching for winter boots that would stay on, in all types of weather for our Pitbull mix. Canada Pooch has finally come through with their Suspender Boots for colder areas in Northwestern Canada. I was offered help finding the right size right away. Once the employees were aware the product was part of their end of season selection, they began contacting other locations to find the correct size, and had that location hold it for us. The employees customer service was exactly what I wanted. We’ve tried the boots on. The Suspender Boots fit correctly on the paw with the Velcro straps, along with the toggles on the legs. The straps along the legs and back are adjustable. I believe ours dog’s snowsuit will fit over top of the boots. Dog’s paws and legs fit a size 4 regular, is about 60 lbs but could also fit a size 5.”

“Writing this review to commend the manager? Jocelyn on an exceptional job in handling a not so friendly customer when I was there today. I go there regularly to wash my dog, she's a 40lb whoodle and if I take my time it takes me about 35min (40 if I'm basically giving her a bubble bath and getting her completely dry - which is impossible)... But today there was a couple washing their Bernese mountain dog (beautiful dog) but they were there for almost 2hrs!! This location is pretty busy and especially busy on a Saturday afternoon... Jocelyn approached them and politilely requested that they finish up as there's a lineup of people and they've been there for over an hour already... This customer then was pretty rude and said something along the lines of "I'm a paying customer, this is the fastest I've washed my dog, what's the head office number so I can make a complaint..." If anything, wash your dog, get it somewhat dry, then take it home and finish there.We all spend $12.60 on a wash, but it shouldn't take more than an hour... If you're going to take that long at least be nice about it and spend some money in the store... I always buy my dog a treat when I go.Rant over... But shout out to Jocelyn for handling it very well and being very helpful and friendly every time we've gone there.Heck, if this location looses this customer, then good, there are plenty of other people litteraly in line to wash their dogs here and we'll definitely keep coming back.In terms of the wash facilities, they're always cleaned after every wash and the product they provide is great, I would recommend the oat honey shampoo & conditioner, or leaves our dog smelling great and her hair is nice and fluffy after a good blow dry (at home) ?Again, thank you Jocelyn for your continued hard work and dedication at this pet value location ???”
