The atmosphere and ambiance are praised, with the incandescent lighting creating a calming and relaxing environment. While the prices can be higher than other grocery stores, Safeway does offer competitive sales and discounts that can rival Walmart. However, some customers have encountered issues with expired products on the shelves, so it's recommended to check expiry dates vigilantly. The recent renovations have been well-received, and the meat counter is noted for its great variety. The self-checkout process is generally efficient, though some customers have expressed a need for more open checkout lanes, especially during busy periods. Employees, such as the helpful and knowledgeable Arnie in the produce section, are praised for their excellent customer service. The addition of a Christmas singing florist is also appreciated as a nice touch.
The store is always well stocked and clean, my favorite cashier is Margaret; always friendly and always happy to see her.

Judy in the floral dept helped me after she was already cashed out. She helped me arrange and vase a bouquet for a friend in the hospital. Super helpful!!
