Safeway Garneau is a nice, medium-sized grocery store in a great and convenient location, popular with younger people. It has undergone recent renovations and is described as clean and very ambient. While smaller, it carries all essential needs with a good selection of everything, including a fresh meat section, delicious fresh-baked bread, and very fresh vegetables and flowers. The store now features self-checkouts and has addressed previous feedback by installing a proper bike rack. Many find the staff to be great and friendly. A common point is that the store is considered a bit pricey or expensive, though prices are noted as not that different from some competitors, with deals available occasionally.
The store has been renovated. The staff enjoys helping customers. The layout is good. The store is clean

My favorite Safeway. It's smaller than the Safeways so it has that small town feel. The staff are phenomenal, the store is always clean and the shelves are always stocked up. I recommend Safeway Garneau.
