“I didn't catch the employees name, and the receipt is with the gift or lost. So im unable to fill out the survey (which he didn't even mention to me! ((It does get annoying being told to fill out a survey everytime you check out of a home depot)).
But I wanted to give credit where credit is due. The guy that was working at the customer service desk on 01/16/2026 around mid afternoon, was excellent! A role model for customer service everywhere.
Attentive as I approached the desk, greeted me with a glowing smile, I told him that I phoned ahead earlier in the day for an M12, fuel drill with battery and charger combo. I'm pretty sure he was the one I spoke with on the phone that checked the stock visually for me so I wouldn't have to drive all the way into fort Saskatchewan just to find out the count was wrong. Excellent on the phone, even better in person. Gave me a slight discount for the packaging being damaged (I believe he was aware that I had driven quite far as this store was the only one with stock for this bundle, hence the real reason he gave me a small discount.) Damage to the box was rather minimal but I still appreciated it very much that he would do that for me, whatever the real reason was. Before I left the store after paying, he instructed me very politely to be careful inthe parking lot due to the very slippery conditions brought on by our recent weather. From start to finish the service I received here could not have been better. Its 2 days later and I felt compelled to share this experience on google reviews. If management reads this review I kindly urge you to figure out who this employee was and share this review with him. His behaviour and professionalism left a lasting impression on me. He deserves to be recognized for his contributions towards this home depot location. I hope you get a raise or at least proper recognition man. You made my day, and reminded me that awesome people like you exist.”
“Had an apt for brakes & rotors to be changed as I got told my Toyota's dealership they needed to be done. They took the car in and called me 10mins later to tell me that my brakes & rotors were fine, still 50% life on it and definitely did not need to be changed. I honestly appreciated their honesty as they could of just still go with it and change them to make money out of me when not needed as I would of never known!?”
